I've got two extra tickets in the 90$ "cheap" seats range if anyone is interested. I will probably have them until day of the show hoping some of my friends may decide to come along. I'll scalp them at the show if not
Damn. I'd love to take one and tag along, but I work that night. I'd have to make it in by 11pm. Unless I can get the first half covered and come in at 3am.... Which more than likely won't happen.
You are still going right? When do you plan on coming into town that day?
I'm not sure if I work or not yet, but if I do I get off at 2 anyway. I'd say I PLAN on coming around 4-5, but a lot of that is dependent on when my DD wants to leave. We live in the suburbs of Dayton so I can't imagine wanting to stick around here any longer than we have to! haha I have one friend who semi committed to a ticket... so I most likely will have at least one left. I'm not selling them before in hopes some friends will end up taking them last minute.. worst case I'll just stand there like its an Ohio State game with 1 finger in the air and wait for someone to come buy it!
I'd be equally excited poke needles into my face for an hour as I am for Kid Rock
I'd like to think that somebody poking their face with needles in front of a massive stadium would get a solid review on Pitchfork.
Better than the one I'd give Kid Rock... who knows I've always heard he puts on a good live show.. maybe he will surprise me? I just wasn't planning on wearing my wife beater to the show until now is all...

Kid Rock is a perfect opener for the Stones.
I saw him in the 90's and it was enjoyable (opening for Limp Bizkit ) but at Voodoo '13 it was pretty damn bad. I mean, he is def lip synching, but visually, I Was cracking up. He has like 15 people on stage, and he's nonstop running around etc, it's just a hilrious sight to see.
Plus you'll prob get him coming out crooning "You Can't Always Get What You Want" with the Stones later, and that will be lifetime epic lulz right there.
I guess Indy hasn't announced theirs because they are focusing on lead up to this weekends Indy500. Hopefully we'll learn who next week and since its a holiday concert (4th of July) they'll make it extra special. It was completely random but there was chatter about Pearl Jsm a little while back in the PJ fan forum.

I guess I never viewed it from a pure entertainment factor point of view. I'll be the guy in the too small wife beater with his hairy belly hanging out if anyone wants to come say hi.
Going to LP Field show Wednesday in Nashville. Brad Paisley probably one of the top five guitar players out there. Saw him playing with Mick on TV. Nashville is Music City...it will rock.

They also announced a second opener for Indy who may be local since I hadn't heard of them. Gates also are opening 3 hours later than originally planned making me less optimistic about stones going above and beyond the tour norm for the big holiday gig. Still should be a helluva show though!
