After reviewing this whole monstrosity of a thread, I can't come up with a logical theory as to why Jazmo would be more worthy of my vote right now. I'm going to stick where I am.
Then what is your logical theory about potent over jaz?
I'll tell if you tell.
What was the suspicion that you said you would share here. Jimmyroo held up his end of the bargain, and I'm interested in your thoughts.

First, I don't like that you are asking jimmyroo's question for him. I was waiting to see how long he let that lie there.
Not to make too much of it, but a habit of proxy questioning touches off tripwires with me.
As you asked, and this was before the day ended, i was looking at a possible trio of you - jazmo / krissy / rummy, as you three led off voting at the beginning of the first (four way) run off, and i thought i saw a pattern. Jaz and krissy ended up together on potent with rummy on krissy for the mythical 2-1 split. The longer rummy stayed on krissy, and you three began peeling off, I thought I might be on to something...until rummy never moved to potent. After she was whacked, I obviously was wrong on grouping you three together. Three.
Then with less than an hour to go jim comes back into it switches votes and ignored questions, Jimmyroo got real involved and said things.
So I have more info, but less certainty.
Just because rummy got whacked, it in no way means i might not have been on to something with jaz and krissy.
On another note, two players changed things at the end of voting day 1. Another was instrumental in removing a player in another round.
Things I see currently: after seeing Farris and Jimmyroo vote for each other, I note that while they've created distance from each other, they also now have the power to potentially take one another out of the runoff, should the occasion arise. Something to always be aware of when there's reciprocal voting. It doesn't mean either of them are Mafia, obviously, but it catches my eye.
Tainted's vote on Jim also could be seen at an attempt at distancing, since I noted a potential connection last round when Jim found potent suspicious for taking me out of the runoff early in the round, but didn't find it suspicious when potent took Tainted out of the runoff. I've made that point before and I'm not convinced of it by any means, but this round's votes must be seen in the context of last round's movement.
Right now I'd like to see what happens with the Farris/Jimmy dyad if they both end up in the runoff, but I'd like to see Jim in there as well. The reason I'm not voting for Jim right now is because if I do and then move my vote off of him later, ya'll are going to associate that with him moving his vote off of me at the end of the last round (as would I, if I were you), and I don't need that grief because that connection's not there. I've also seen enough people be suspicious of Jim because of the last round, so I'm mildly confident that Jim will garner another vote before the round is over. If Jim doesn't get another vote come round end, I'll strongly consider moving my vote over to him, and should Jimmyroo get stacked to three while Jim has one, that consideration becomes much stronger depending on how other votes pan out and whether or not someone else does something I find really suspect. End point: as it stands right now, I'd like to see Farris/Jimmyroo/Jim/someone else in a runoff.

I guess I'm looking for the movers and shakers.
Are you seriously trying to imply Jaz bringing that up is sketchy but Jimmy isnt sketchy for not replying to you??? You are still being vague, and are saying you want half or 2/3 of the day 2 runoff to consist of day 1 runoff participants? You are really gunning hard for the Jazmo/Krissy thing and I think thats bullshit.
I want Jfg in the runoff as the 4th at this point the way things are going.

jfg108 I am sorry if I am misunderstanding you (which I think I am) Its just your vagueness and avoidance of Jim has me thinking in your direction hard.

and by vagueness I mean more along the lines of you not saying much and then coming in and not really being clear, but obviously being leading. This approach last game ended the game for the town and you were a townsfolk.

Yep. You are. Glad you said it before I had to. If you think I am avoiding Jim, reread page 16.

Actually, last game I was far from leading, I was specific...way too early. Hand in hand, Viking and I - both townie that game - led the town down the wrong path.
I am offering my thoughts, as some players are demanding them; however, I have come to understand the destructive power of being too sure when one has no definitive reason.

Ugh, no need. I just use the search feature on your name. Ugh, I am sorry for being wrong again. I admit when I make mistakes in this game and I have made plenty today. I am going to chill out for now and let some others talk while I try to figure out this mess of a game.
Although why on earth would 1 day last so long if there wasnt at least 1 mafia in the runoff?

As a side note, I told myself last game I would keep track with pen and paper. Of course I dont go through with it this game when I really needed to, especially for this shit pit.
I am putting my vote on krissy for the time being. She was in the run off ready to be voted off and due to some moves (jimmy, farris) she was "saved" at the last minute. I understand jimmy's move as he didn't want her voted straight off, but farris made his move and nothing was said after which seems odd to me. This paired with rummy having her vote locked on krissy makes me think she should be in the run off. Are we going to try and put four in the run off or three? Its been a while since I have played and I do not remember the "standard procedure" for Day 2.

bogart > krissy
I agree that Krissy almost needs to be in the run off at this point. We can't ignore the fact that the Rummy whack points directly to Krissy. At this point, I think Farris should be in the runoff as well because he saved Krissy from the runoff last round. However, if no one else agrees that Krissy needs to be in the runoff, I will be switching my vote from Farris to her.
For the record, I didn't follow up with jfg's "theory" because I really don't care much about chasing people down for theories. If he wants to post something then he will. If he thinks he's gaining something by waiting for me to ask him his opinion, well, that's his prerogative.
Personally, I think it's a convenient excuse for him to not share his "theory"

I did. I was wrong.
What are you doing?
Yes, i truncated his post to adress specific points.
Sadly, this round is deviating too much from the whack for my liking. The whack remains the closest tie to the mafia at this point. If people want me in the runoff I can live with it. But at least the other people in the runoff should have something to do with the Rummy whack. That's all I'm asking.

Jazmo >> Jimmyroo
Why are you completely failing to mention the Rummy whack when determining your vote?
Krissy is the only one that I see this whack pointing towards right now, since I know Rummy and I are both town and Krissy is the only other person she voted for (I'm trying to pay more attention to votes than the discussion). Rummy posted a lot in the first round, but on further review, it doesn't seem like she actually said much - nothing too concrete, anyway. A couple of jokes ("I'm looking at you tainted" and "Rummy > jfg"), a lot of probing other players and asking for clarification on the rules, but not a lot of hard evidence. Even her suspicions of Krissy weren't very solid, in my opinion.
Yep - I think if one of the four of us were the Mafia, Krissy is most likely. Wish she'd been in the final run off, but what can ya do!
Also, question: so you guys play where the whack occurs after the lynching of that day? Or have the Mafia already decided who dies for this round? I know the way that I've always played in person, but the OP is a little vague about the timing of it with this online version.
Actually after reading the quote that Farris just posted, that does seem a bit more condemning of Krissy. Didn't catch that on my read-thru.
So Krissy's definitely on my radar. But if we all only voted on the only person the whack pointed to, we'd be lynching Krissy outright. And as I said earlier, I agree with Farris in that I want to see fresh faces in the runoff, so that's the aim my vote was directed at. Weighed against my desire to see new faces, I don't feel strongly enough about Krissy for her to warrant my vote. And outside of her, I don't think the whack tells us much.
This'll most likely be my last tally for the night; I'm heading to bed. I'd like to see Krissy in the runoff too but who knows if surfbumdj is going to show up.
