I've had my eye on Jim most of the game; I can't really explain it but something about his actions and movement doesn't sit right with me. I think anything concrete I would come up with has already been said. Right now I'd like a Jim/Krissy runoff. I don't really feel too suspicious of Krissy but in light of the whack I don't think her continuing into the next runoff is a bad idea.

I personally like all three currently in the runoff and have no reason to change my vote. Farris only becomes more of a bleep on the radar after creating yet another Tainted +X connection -unsolved mysteries style. Sorry farris, you picked the wrong day to pick the glue back up. I vote, rather transparently, for who I suspect. Stacking my vote and then repeating that if I change my vote now it's curious, it really only stands to make you look more suspicious
I haven't thought about this game at all this weekend. I've had 10 kids at my house Saturday-Sunday and facilitated the twins birthday parties. Feel free to check my Facebook for the insane amount of pictures for proof.
I did a quick catch-up and the thing that popped out at me is Farris' Tainted/Jim theory. I kind of see it, but also don't understand why, if there is that connection, Tainted would be sitting on his vote for Jim. Doesn't strike me as something partners in crime would do. I'm still good with my vote on Farris.

Well I called him out on it when the runoff was tied, it would look bad on his part to move now. Taint hadnt called out Jim all game and for him to place his vote on him for the reason of Jim's last minute vote switch on Day 1 seems pretty bullshit. What I am thinking now is that Jim's late day 1 vote change was more geared towards voting off the most likely inspector. If so, at that point the mafia would be trying to separate from him but not actually throw him under the bus.

Something that needs to be noted, and I believe Jfg said something similar at the beginning of day 2, is that originally before the Rummy whack. I was leaning heavily towards a Krissy, Jazmo, Rummy mafia group.
Once Rummy got whacked I didn't feel confident anymore of that situation.
My problem is how Jazmo worded things after the whack. Here was his big post.
The only thing I can truly conclude after rereading this thread is that Day 1 was a total clusterfuck. But I think we know that.
When analyzing a whack, I generally start out with the assumption that the Mafia is trying to kill the inspector and is not giving us a red herring. That's what I've always done when I've been Mafia, at least. The latter is obviously a possibility that needs to be looked at, but I don't find that to be the most likely scenario most of the time.
The issue I'm having with Rummy's whack is that she didn't really gun too hard for anyone. She stated in multiple runoffs that she didn't really believe anyone in the runoff was Mafia, as well as a call for more quiet people to start talking (a sentiment echoed by others). Yes, she stacked on me initially and then voted for me in the final round, so it makes sense to look at me because of that. But in the Krissy/Potent/Jazmo runoff, she locked her vote on Krissy when the votes were Krissy - 4/Potent - 4/Jazmo - 3. Since we know she was town and wasn't colluding with anyone to move their vote to me after she locked on Krissy, I don't think it makes sense to look at this whack as pointing to me being Mafia and Rummy being inspector. If that were the case I'd like to think you'd agree that she would either have moved her vote to me or made a push for a Krissy/Jazmo runoff.
Krissy is the only one that I see this whack pointing towards right now, since I know Rummy and I are both town and Krissy is the only other person she voted for (I'm trying to pay more attention to votes than the discussion). Rummy posted a lot in the first round, but on further review, it doesn't seem like she actually said much - nothing too concrete, anyway. A couple of jokes ("I'm looking at you tainted" and "Rummy > jfg"), a lot of probing other players and asking for clarification on the rules, but not a lot of hard evidence. Even her suspicions of Krissy weren't very solid, in my opinion.
I question whether or not the Mafia thought Rummy was actually inspector - if she was, I think that she would have PMed the ref about clarification concerning the whack instead of openly asking about it in the thread - and I'd expect the Mafia to think so as well. Unless maybe that's why they thought she should be whacked - because she was asking about inspectory-type stuff? Because if the whack isn't about Krissy or setting Krissy up, then I'm not sure what it tells us.
You see, he mentions the possibility of Rummy being a red haring but says its more likely to go the other way. Its interesting he even mentions the red haring part.
The overarching feeling I had throughout the day 1 runoff was that Rummy was bullshitting in regards to all of her questions about the rules. I even mentioned how I never felt any better of Rummy during day 1. IMO if you are going to play this game, read the fucking rules. Especially when she already knows the game play mechanics from playing in person as she has stated. I understand a question or two being asked, but she had too many for me not to look her way. Those questions about inspector at the end could have easily been to set up for a day 2 red haring.
I was wondering why there was SOOOO much talk during day 1. I honestly feel a runoff with no mafia members would not have resulted in that outcome.
I have stated two possible groupings. One is not stronger than the other for me at this point. Voting Jim straight off is stupid. I would really like a Krissy/Jim runoff. If its not too late, and somebody else can come in to make an additional change, I will change my vote to make a 2 way runoff happen
I'm confused, why are you still talking about a runoff? It ended at nine a.m., per fawns post four hours ago.
We had problems on day 1 with ending times and I wasn't sure if that was still the case since fawn hadn't posted.
I naturally thought of the opposite side of my initial call out regarding you and Jim. I wanted to make a note of that for the town and I am not 100% on any connections. If I had to choose, I would still stick with my Taint and Jim combo because I feel there is more indirect things linking them up.
I also want extended conversation from jfg108, bogart, and surfbumdj going forward. If they don't speak up, then the town has problems going forward.

I'm just putting this out there now that I'm going to delay the fuck out of my vote because I can't see how I can possibly get a well reasoned vote in by 10am on Wednesday after such a busy Tuesday.

How is it a short turnaround? The 18 hour mark would've been up at 7am per Fawn's post. I'm guessing neither the mafia nor the inspector wanted to stay up super late just to get their names in lol
Note: JimmyRoo made a good point above. With the round ending late last night, the close of Day three is moved to Wednesday Night.

Jaz is the only other person I have my targets on, and I wouldn't vote for him at this point because that would stack the votes and yesterdays lynch was already a rather quick one. I diverted my attention to Jim, put simply because it was a very questionable move and I didn't see it as being of benefit to either my personal approach to the games progress or the towns progress. I never took my attention off of you, I just saw that as an easier move to make than to attempt to push the stone up the mountain again on Day 2 with my theory of you / Jaz / X

Clarification: I know Jimmy has posted a bit more than the other two, however, none of his posts are very substantial. It's mainly responding to things other people have posted, yet he's sharing no theories of his own that would benefit the town.
