I don't think I've seen the sun since Tuesday. It's been cloudy for nearly four straight days. Rain off and on, misty at other times.
It's supposed to clear up tomorrow, and go into the 60s by Sunday or Monday. About freaking time.
Very similar conditions here. I didn't see the sun for about 96 hours. Temps were pretty steady in the upper 30s/lower 40s with on-and-off showers. The warm air and sun finally broke though yesterday afternoon, and it was absolutely gorgeous (it's always gorges here) for a couple of hours. Back to windy, cold, and overcast today, but tomorrow should be the start of a nice run of springlike weather.
your 5000th post, should def be about the weather!!!
Damn, I knew it was coming, but I mostly only post from my phone, so I don't see my post count and it got away from me.
I'm actually on mobile right now too and saw your weather comment and wondered where you were from and saw your post count lol. And I never accomplished finding out where you are from

Tennessee, originally, but I live in Las Vegas now.
Worst storm here in decades. Three dead, countless homes and cars destroyed, hundreds of thousands without power, state of emergency declared. I read that in any other part of the world it would be classified as a cyclone, but Australia uses a different cutoff for windspeeds. I'll trade you for those humid overcast skies you were moaning about?
It's finally warming up here. Except for the good thunder storm today being during daylight hours, I (finally) have nothing to bitch about.
It's in the 50-low 60's now. And it's been windy as shit. Yesterday it was like 45mph gusts. I'm sad it got colder again and I'm terrified that the wind is going to cause damage the my house that I'm trying to sell. Hoping both of these things stop sooner than later. :/
And holy crap Cap'n Mac. Are those real pictures?! I saw your snap yesterday. Was that a car that was in water to the top of the tire? I couldn't quite tell.

So I'm reading a news article about this, and it says some areas were hit with about 85 mph winds. Over here that'd be a category 1 hurricane, so how fucked is Australia's criteria in regards to (what they call) cyclones.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
snow, hail, temps in the low 40's, and windy as hell. fuck you Chicago weather!!!
This was my 5am.......
-looked at phone, why is traffic so heavy? -made cup of coffee for the ride into the city -walked outside and saw snow AND hail -immediately went back inside to make a larger cup of coffee
at least it didn't last too long, just long enough for people to forget how to drive.
Of course it's suppose to rain the night I got tickets for the Richmond race (Saturday). I got tickets for tomorrow night as well, in which it is suppose to be fine for.
Be like at a festival if the pre-headliner got their show in but the headliner canceled because bad weather....and yes I know, sometimes the pre-headliner is the better show. That's not the case in this situation.

All I'm saying is screw ALL of you guys because the average temperature for the month of April so far has been 108* F. Most days are right around 70-80% humidity as well.
Stuck at work while tornado warnings and pitch black skies, up to 110 mph winds and rain is falling. I am so worried about that stupid big, ass, oak tree in my front yard breaking and falling on my roof and what would my puppies do? My kid at school and my man offshore. Fuck this weather.
