I'm expecting a solid lineup nonetheless though. The fest jumped a ton in its two-year history. Being 5 hours away is pretty convenient, and if the lineup is good then I'll definitely be in attendance.
Seems like way too big of a get. I'd pin them as a likely act for Ultra.
Man I just want some info on this year's lineup. Last year was so much fun. I'm sure Jamie xx will be back again with the new record but I don't know who else.

Interestingly Jamie xx has played the past two years, but he has more of a reason to play this time. Hopefully Ultra didn't snag him. When did the lineup come out last year?

Sometime in May I think. Yeah hopefully he really likes playing this fest and wants to come back. Hope more inforoosters make it to this, I think I was the only one that went last year

Nice lineup. I don't really recognize much after the midway point, but almost everything in the top half is in-line with my tastes.
Booking Doom seems kind of ridiculous at this point. I'd be shocked if he shows; he didn't even make his London gig with FlyLo...no chance he's making a stateside gig.
Not bad. Though I'm not sure why Surfer Blood is there, and damn does the lineup drop the fuck off at the midway point.
The fest runs from 7:30 pm to 4:00 am. Only half of the lineup has big names because people don't usually start showing up until 10:00 or so. Not enough time to have a lot of big acts play to a lot of people
Are you all missing the fact that it's not MF Doom, it's Ghostface Killah + MF Doom? Which is like 10000000000000 times more awesome.
That's really the only interesting thing on there though, aside from Bicep who are having maybe the best year out of any electronic/dance artists alive.
Actually I didn't notice that. That's pretty sweet.
Considering this costs me less than $100 for the entire trip I think it is definitely interesting enough to justify going

Oh by all means. That's a killer deal. Nico Jaar, yet another serving of RTJ, Bonobo, Warpaint, TEED, Doomstarks, Wolf + Lamb, the Field, Bicep, Jacques Greene...for that price, that's outstanding.
Yup. Thankfully I have an uncle that lives within walking distance to the venue. I'm really happy I get to see RTJ in an indoor venue

This lineup is amazing! So looking forward to see Nicolas Jarr even if it is a DJ set. Sounds like MF DOOM will be preforming live but it will streaming from another location kinda like how Zach Hill performed with Death Grips at SXSW a couple years ago over Skype.
I live in Florida and tickets are under $100. This seems like a no brainer

I hope only because they are local and somewhat popular. How they are still touring Im not sure. I liked them on record but when I saw them live they absolutely terrible the two times I caught them. The vocals are so damn nasally
