Shakes just do sooo little for me compared to how people talk about them. I don't get it.
For me I just really enjoy that blues-y style they have. And few artists have the relentless passion and intensity that Brittney has the entire time she's performing. I love how you can tell she's throwing everything she's got into her show.
The rewind function almost makes up for the lack of Drive Like Jehu, Swans and AC/DC on the line-up. Oh well, at least I'm getting to watch Cloud Nothings kill it now.
I can't fathom why they aren't showing AC/DC. Why wouldn't you stream what's arguably the biggest name on your lineup?

As for Alabama Shakes. They started a little subdued but those new songs are powerhouses. Girl just rips her soul open and pours that shit out, spills it over you and hot damn.
