I'm reading that as chance of rain all the way to Saturday, and uncomfortably humid throughout the weekend.
There is always a chance of rain. From what im reading, it looks like there will be clouds the present most of the time. Them in themselves bring relief from cooking under the Tenn. sun.
I'd be OK with a minimum of rain, just to keep the dust down, hoping that forecast sticks. I live in east Tennessee, and we've been going through a two week or so period of almost no rain. It's sprinkled a couple times, but that's it.

It's been unseasonably cool and dry this month in Nashville so far. I've hardly turned on the AC and had windows open most of the time. I even wore a jacket during the day last week.... I would like to think it would stay like this, but I've lived in TN too long to think it won't get crazy hot
Definitely still early. I remember needing volunteers to push our car through the mud as we entered last year around 4-5 a.m. Thursday morning. I think it rained a ton the Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday leading up to gates opening. We thought we were in for a mudaroo. Then the sun came up, everything started drying out, and by midday Thursday, it was normal/dry for the rest of the weekend. Maybe it's always too early to know what you're really in for.
Yeah, I really hope this streak of thunderstorms every single day we are having down here will be over before Bonnaroo....I've never experienced a wet and muddy festival before. I don't think I'll start acquiring rain gear until I see the weather on June 7th or 8th, though.

I have experienced way too many to not prep for it even with the outlook of beautiful weather. I suggest gathering that stuff, just in case.

I'm not worried. It's still way too far out to be worried about precip. They can't reliably predict precip until 5 days out, and even then the duration and intensity aren't known until about 48 hours before. My guess? It's going to be hot and rain some then cool down at night. Like pretty much every Roo...
I would rather more rain during the festival then before. Enough before so it isn't dusty but I don't want to have to set up camp in mud. And any year is has been muddy as caused traffic to be held up and it take longer to get in. I am fine with mud all weekend, after we get camp set up.
I still am planning on it being cooler than normal for this time of year but with some rain. Rain is the only way to keep the temps down. It's been unusually rainy and I don't see it stopping in the next 13 days. Not downpour, but showers.

As long as I'm not sinking in mud or inhaling dust, I'll be good to go. I don't like extreme conditions on either end of the spectrum. Some rain and some dust is definitely tolerable.
How much has it been raining by the farm? Enough that even if it didn't rain next week it would still be muddy? What if it rains all next week? Just trying to get us to that 20 page mark for pondo ROCKS
