I live in Virginia and they just "retired"" All Good Festival in WV. I figure Lockn put them out of buisness. So if we have Wakarussa, All Good, Boston Calling, Landmark, Big Guava all calling it quits, are we on the verge of the Festival Bubble bursting?
this festival was so affordable and i really enjoyed it. that being said, i'm a little relieved that i no longer have to figure out how to make two trips to dc within a two week span for this and adele.

Hope this makes it back eventually. Even with all the logistical problems they had last year it was still about a million times better than Made in America.
I think they're taking this year off so the people currently in the beer line can make it to the front without having to miss a whole 'nother festival.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Bummer. Couldn't attend last year due to a wedding conflict. Surprised at how poorly they did financially (only $500,000?). Probably could have charged a bit more for tickets. Did they not sell alcohol last year?
At least this year's postponement is for a good reason. And I don't mean that sarcastically.
Based on Drake ~ Strokes ~ Alt J I would go with...
Arcade Fire ~ Childish Gambino ~ The National
no way we get that lucky Imagine Dragons/ Gambino
I don't think other big time fests are going to take the bait on Imagine Dragons as a headliner. Wayhome got crushed and I just don't think they have the fanbase that a band like 21P has to justify taking on all that hate.
I would love to see Landmark Fest return this year, but it seems unlikely.
Over the past few months I've e-mailed both Landmark Fest and C3 Presents about the status of the festival and they have both haven't answered. I also e-mailed the Trust for the National Mall who responded that they "hope to have another music festival on the Mall soon, but we are still looking at what we can do and when." Doesn't seem promising.
It looks like Landmark Fest WILL be returning after all!
I e-mailed C3 Presents yesterday to ask if Landmark Fest will be happening this year and they responded "Yes keep on checking this website for more information: www.landmarkfestival.org/tickets/"
Therefore, I'll guess: Chance the Rapper- Lana Del Rey- The National- Father John Misty
