I don't care about your taste in music, nor did I comment on it. I merely cited a couple artists who, based upon your criteria, must suck to you because they can't or won't "recreate" their recorded work live. If you DO like them, then it kind of renders your whole argument moot, so I don't really care either way. What I did was tell you that I thought your opinion was wrong, you got upset about that and tried to throw some juvenile insults my way, which I then called you out on. Now you're sulking and trying to defuse the thing by making me look like a bad guy for "insult[ing] [you] in [my] witty and demeaning way," a/k/a pulling your card when you tossed out a truly offensive word and then made light of it with your oh-so-mature use of animated smiley faces.

In case you haven't noticed, I haven't been "tear[ing] down others opinions" at all in this thread. It was actually noted that I was being nicer than people are used to seeing me. You expressed an opinion which I found patently ridiculous, I told you it was ridiculous, you accused me of just taking it "out of context," so I went to the well to defend my statement by way of examples. You didn't like someone challenging what you said, so you resorted to insults. when in fact I feel like often times a subpar musical act can skate by on an overinflated reputation as a good live band simply because they change the way the songs are played or add in a bunch of shitty solos or whatever.
