I asked about the VIP sections on Facebook yesterday and Sweetwood replied:
"Kinda wish there was more detail on what the VIP will be like at each stage. Anyone know if there will be space up front for VIP at all?"
Tim Sweetwood: As always take care of you guys, VIP at all stages except Buford Hwy, plenty of room.
I'm not VIP, but the Peachtree stage VIP section is pretty large at other shows I've been to at Centennial. I saw MMJ their for the Final Four free concert a few years back and the VIP area was huge and extended all the way to mid-stage. I would expect the same at SK.
I have 1 EITS ticket for sale. I was going to try to see Disappears before Parquet Courts, but now my wife is going and that is not possible. Which is fine. I'm looking forward to Priests before PC. Anyway, face value. Let me know.

Got my knees shaking a little early this week with some Frightened Rabbit and Caveman tonight. Both really brought it, but this cleared my Orwells conflict.

How long would one need to wait to get as close as possible to the greatness of MMJ? Wondering what time I need to be getting to the peachtree stage? Any suggestions?

Lucky for you, that night is choc full of great later sets. Foals, SSPU, Decemberists. I would say at least before Deer Tick if you're really that dedicated.
I'm a lazy local who takes this fest for granted, so i'm just starting to check out bands i don't know. All Them Witches on the Buford stage is going to be sick. (Buford is the smallest and coolest stage btw...a super mini amph.)
FYI, the weather channel now has the forecast looking like this: Friday - 10% chance of rain, a high of 82, low of 58; Saturday - 0% rain, high of 84, low of 56; Sunday - 10% rain, high of 79, low of 58. Couldn't hardly ask for better weather.

Officially made it to Atlanta from Connecticut. I thought it was a good idea to start my time in Atlanta by walking three miles to my place with a suitcase to offset the gallons of beer that will be consumed this weekend. I quickly determined this was a bad life decision.
Still have a 3-Day GA pass for $100 if anyone needs one. Hasn't been activated, but would have to meetup somewhere, since I don't have access to an Amazon drone to deliver it by air.
