I'd have to disagree, unless you needed more ports for something. But keep in mind all 4 ports on the 20k are limited to 4A output TOTAL between all 4. So if you're charging an iPad at 3A, the other plug is only outputting 1A.
The 20k mAh is $80, so 250 mAh/$
The 13k mAh is $26, so 500 mAh/$
You could buy 3 of the 13k for the same price as the 20k one, and have 39k of power on tap.
The 20k does charge itself faster it appears, but as far as power on tap, doesn't matter.
Just like most electronics, go one or two steps down from the top of the line to find the best bang for the buck.

But you wouldn't have to carry all 3 around with you. You could leave the other two in your car/tent/wherever. And in that regard, carrying around 1 13k mAh is smaller then 1 20k mAh charger. Unless you're doing some SERIOUS charging, you're not going to burn through that 13k mAh in a day.

Depends, when did you buy it? If you bought it within the past 6 months to a year, ya, you're a sucker
If it's older then a year or so, that was probably the going rate at the time. Prices on high capacity batteries have come WAY down.
I remember paying somewhere between $40-60 for my 15k Anker a year or two ago (memories fuzzy on that, would have to go back through my Amazon account).
Edit: Dr. Joe just checked my Amazon account and I paid $50 for my 15k Anker exactly one year ago. So it just shows how much the prices have dropped in a year. When I was looking last week, and saw how cheap they were, I couldn't resist picking another up.

I got the 13000 Anker. So far I'm very happy with it. It was $25.99 in white. The black one was a little bit more I think.

I went to make sure my Anker 1300 from last year was all charged up and couldn't find it anywhere. (I've moved twice since last Bonnaroo.) So Monday I ordered two 1600's. They were less than what I paid for one 1300 last year and they arrived today. My phone is awful on batteries, I tweet a lot during Roo and I am actually going with someone else this year so I need to be able to stay in touch. I assume I'll now find the 1300...
Remember if it's cloudy you will lose the usefulness of the solar one...also it has to be in direct sunlight to work well--is there somewhere you can leave it in the sun that it won't "walk off"?
I was thinking it could clip on my camelbak? If it wasn't rainy? I think you have convinced me otherwise.
I got this one a few years back. I clip it onto my camelbak and it works great. You can even buy a battery pack for it so you can have juice stored for those cloudy days. It's also really sturdy and weather resistant. Mine just came today too. I didn't think to check to see if my phone charges faster with it. If so that might make it a good thing to have around fairly often.

I'm at an internet retail ecommerce convention and there are a ton of booths handing out swag. So far I have four charging things (2 that look like only one full recharge, but two that claim 3 recharges) and I'm going to try and grab more tomorrow. I'll be sent for roo

After about a half hour, I've been charging at about a percent a minute. Pretty good.

that's about what I was getting because I looked like 40 mins later and I was at 79% when I had started at like 35ish%. My coworker has been using it all night so far to charge her phone and her Fitbit and it still hasnt lost a light (so still around 50-75% charge left).
2nd time Bonnaroovian. 1st time tent camper. I noticed some chargers for rent by the festival last year I was just curious as to how much they were to rent and how long you could rent them for. Any help would be appreciated. Can't wait to see all you beautiful people on the farm.
Hey bigphil! So i scanned through the three pages and noone has mentioned that if you rent a locker that is located inside Centeroo, it comes with complimentary charging. They'll take it, lock it in a mini locker, and give you an hour a pop.
So my phone charger supposedly got delivered but I never got it. So $27 out and no charger for the farm. I am pissed.
Amazon told me I got a pack of zip ties delivered on Friday but I have seen no such package yet.
I just got off of chat with them. They said it would be delivered today, I had Kyle check the mail and nothing (mail, no package). I now have to request an advanced refund and reorder if I want it. When it said it was delivered Friday, and it wasn't I checked everywhere and even talked to my bat-shit crazy, addict neighbors. Nothing. Yesterday, I talked to the mailman and he remembers delivering a package on Tuesday (my razors) but nothing on Friday. I gave him the tracking number and he was going to look into it, but I got nothing back from him. I was told I had to wait until the end of the day today. So tomorrow I will be requesting my refund. I am so frustrated. I wanted this for Bonnaroo and now I am going without.
