If Schoolboy puts out some new music (which he most likely will) he's definitely due to play Bonnaroo
why do you think that's likely?
I remember him saying that he's been working hard in the studio. But Oxymoron will be two years old next year. So just following a normal album/tour cycle, he'll probably have another album out early next year. Or at least some new material.
WVU and he looked great. Organizers set specific rules for the show and that sucked. But he was full of energy. Partied down despite it being hot as fuck.
What kind of rules? And that's good to hear, he went pretty hard when I saw him too but you could tell he was pretty gassed towards the end of his set
Like he had to be off the stage by 8:45 and just the way the show was ran. It was stupid. But he did play a part of a new song and said his new album was coming out soon. I'd love to see him at Roo.
Apparently Cymande is releasing their first album in over 40 years in November. It'd be cool to see them at roo in the late afternoon for a chill, groovy show (if they tour in the US that is)

He said his project is coming out after Jay Rock's '90059' (which is supposed to come out this year). So I'd expect new Q early next year...
You see the weird release date for Jay Rock? Last I saw they had it pre-order listed at August 18, 2016. Obviously, that must be some kind of an error. Either way, I could see Schoolboy or Jay Rock being there. J Cole highest listed hip hop act next year.

But, Macklemore... Ftr, I heard nothing but great things about J. Cole's show in Tampa a few days ago

That would be awesome! Bonnaroo needs to book this.

It being the 15th anniversary I wouldn't be surprised if we got some jam acts like String Cheese Incident, Umphrey's McGee, or Warren Haynes Band would all make me happy.
They tend to have a white Reggae act like Rebelution, Dirty Heads, or Matisyahu. I've not seen any in years but Slightly Stoopid and SOJA were both good in recent years.
I am hoping for either Brand New, or Coheed & Cambria. In the Punk slot maybe Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Rancid or Me First and the Gimme Gimme's.
Legacy/ Nostalgic Acts would be Duran Duran, Hall and Oates, ELO, Chic Ft. Nile Rogers, Morris Day and the Time, Willie Nelson, Steve Miller Band, Jimmy Cliff, some form of David Byrne
Motörhead for Metal
Other acts I hope for. CHVRCHES, Tame Impala, Alt-j, Ryan Adams, St Vincent, Modest Mouse, Chris Stapleton, Nathaniel Rateliff, Wilco
If I could get one or two acts of each category along with the one or two acts I mentioned in the Hip Hop and EDM Threads plus one or two headliners that pump me up... This will be an awesome Roo.

This is about the worst/most boring wishlist I've ever seen.

I knew you would say this. But other than a few of these acts I haven't seen any of them. So for me this is appealing.
Future Islands really should be happening this year, considering they've played pretty much every other major fest at this point and Roo is notorious for booking acts way too late.

Shiz I've been able to see them twice in the same park here in Chicago before Roo's booked em.
Seriously though, Spiritualized is one of the best, most beautiful shows I've ever been too. I would LOVE to see him again. Honestly, I don't know if he could be better than in the setting I saw him at in Terminal West.
