Sunday What - The Weeknd (7:00-8:30) -> Pearl Jam (9:30-11:30) Which - ELO (8:00-9:30)
Just imagine all the Death Grips fans wanting to kill themselves waiting through Bro Safari
You're right, it would be quite hilarious, but I should actually have it the other way around (and flip flop doom/ghostface & Destroyer) to maximize crowd movement. Death Grips -> Bro Safari -> Titus Andronicus
So it'd still be funny to see the Titus fans have to wait through Bro Safari
This almost has me thinking, should we just have slots for certain bands to fill? And just debate over who to fill those slots? token Thursday angsty band, token Thursday hip hop artist, token tent edm Thursday headliner, that dancy Thursday night band everyone loves, the super cool less crowded hipster tent and the overpacked and overhyped mainstream Thursday tent ect. Then like who are going to be our 3 or 4 metal bands, who's going to be the Friday/Saturday punk band, the big hip hop "headliner", the edm act that destroys every show going on at that time, the mostly vanilla bands to play the What Stage during the day, and so on.

Sadly, the lineup is pretty much that predictable. Can't blame em, the formula has proven to move tickets (even with generally weak lineups)

Destroyer LN would be the coolest. It'd never happen, but it'd be so fun, especially with a lot of the Kaputt songs.
Mannnn, I guess you're probably right. But I could see them getting Atomic Bomb's slot or SBTRKT's slot from this year. During the sunset or right after it, before the headliner. I guess that's more realistic. I would raise hell if they booked Destroyer and gave them a show before sun set

Bringing Death Grips back for 2016 would be amazing! Would certainly up the chances of me returning for another year. However when their time comes and they don't show for the set I would be one pissed off koala.

mock schedule in June. I am impressed.
Solid mock other than Pearl Jam being at least a half hour too short.
New Orders new album comes out in September. I would definitely be cool with them being on the lineup.
Where would they be billed/scheduled. I would LOVE New Order on the farm.
Pre-headline for someone like The Cure on the main stage, or close down The Which, in my opinion. I might be overstating it and they would close out a tent one night. But dang it, I could see them having a good late night spot too. Well fine.....one of those 4 choices, in that order.

Haha, I'm in exactly the same boat as you when I try to place em. Also, Pre-HL before the Cure would make too much sense. It'd be like a time machine dropped you off in the late 80's! I could see them being LN This Tent or pre-headlining the What/Which one night as well

I would be willing to agree to just about anything else lineup wise if we could guarantee New Order into The Cure. The rest will be good enough, and that would be great.

I wouldn't like that at all, because that means I'd have to watch them from the Cure pit line. I think a sunset tent spot would be perfect for them and during a night that I don't care for the headliners. But, I'm not counting on it. Hopefully Tears for Fears opened up the door for bands like New Order, the Cure, Depeche Mode, Echo and the Bunnymen, Gary Numan, etc. to play Roo.

I would kill for all of those, but is Echo even a real option?!

Nobody on this board loves New Order more than I do, but in my opinion they are a tent act. Any music nerd worth her or his salt knows New Order, but amongst the common peoples they don't have the name recognition of say, Tears For Fears, and Tears For Fears was in a tent.
but yeah I've never seen them, and have dreamed of seeing them at Roo. I won't get my hopes up though.

I looked on Setlist.fm and they looked recently active. But no, I don't think they will happen.

Ok, I didn't even know they've been active recently. And yeah, there's almost 0% chance they play Roo, there's only like 10% chance they ever play Coachella
