D'Angelo didn't really play any of the quiter songs. I was really looking forward to Another Life and Til It's Done. I wonder if the sound bleed had anything to do with the song selection.
I think it had more to do with keeping the party going. D'Angelo gets it.
I don't hate bassnectar or anything. I was a big fan of some of his stuff. But I've been seriously disappointed both times I've seen him and I was excited for both shows. But to be honest I think part of the reason I haven't enjoyed it both times is the crowd around me. Both times I've had a bad experience with the people I've been around. Then I'd move and still be around awful people. So they kind of killed my vibe for the whole show both times. So maybe it's not even bassnectar maybe it's bassnectar fans.
I'M JUST MAD THAT I MISSED D'ANGELO FOR A SHOW WHERE A STUFFED RACCOON WITH BELLS ALL OVER IT WAS SWING AROUND MY HEAD FOR AN HOUR GUYS!
I have probably expressed my dislike for Bassnectar's show more than any other member on the boards. I'm just not a huge fan of a lot of people that were in the crowd around me, his old stuff was really good but don't like the new stuff, everything sounded the same, my spot was bad, I missed D'Angel, and I recently found out that I bought some stuff that had stuff I didn't know about in it and it was not ideal for listening to Bassnectar. So, basically, nothing went in my favor at bassnectar. I did thoroughly enjoy sitting at the Superjam afterward though (once bassnectar's bass wasn't ruining the sound

Would be shocked if Umphrey's didn't get a late night next year. If not, I could see them maybe getting the MMJ set from this year leading into Phish or something...that'd be just as good.

Tauk would be a great Thursday show. I would love to see papadosio make it to the farm. String cheese needs to make it back to the farm next year. Can you imagine a papadosio into UM or SCI Late night. I'd be all over that!
With respect to the D'Angelo show, the sound bleed was really non-existent if you had enough sense to move to the right side of the tent. I had ear plugs in and was all the way up to the front on the right side and only heard D'Angelo.

This aint happening but MC 900 Ft Jesus in any form in any tent at anytime would be an awesome surprise. From what I understand you gotta catch him DJ jazz sets in TX if you want to see him anymore. But you never know when someone might come round for that last paycheck
