Only found the 2014 thread, so let's get 2015 going.
Childish Gambino pit line - we were being pushed around, couldn't move, and the guys beside me started singing "Day Man" from it's always sunny in philadephia. That moment just makes my soul smile. Also, *someone* got hit in the head with the black dildo totem pole. I won't name any names.
Bassnectar - seeing all of those glow sticks just flying, especially the first time. It was crazy and magical and all I could do was stand there and watch and smile.
Sitting in the field after Dawes' set, just watching everyone walk by. It felt amazing outside at that moment, was a little cloudy, and felt like heaven.
Thursday I was burning up from the heat. I literally was contemplating leaving and JUSTIN invited me over to their camp to kick it. They had shade and a breeze and it literally put life back into me. When I save yall saved me, you truly saved my Bonnaroo.
Deadmau5 - this set changed my life. That's all i can say. I had no intentions of even going to it this year bc of the RTJ set, but I ended up leaving RTJ set early. Something I will never regret. I literally was standing in a field of thousands of people raving their asses off, and I was just feeling the music, not listening... but feeling it. Can't explain it.
Every night the long walk back to pod 10 was made more bearable by the company I was with. Late night walks, especially at 4:30am, make life just feel more real.

YOU CAUGHT THAT SET?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I'm so jealous. I heard it as I walked backed to camp. All I can say is, Doses and Mimosas came on at the PERFECT time. I was just laying down on my mattress when that song came on, I had the biggest smile on my face. Wish I could've seen that set. Oh well.
One of my favorite moments was dancing with a group of people dressed as bananas and then wandering off and finding a man who had a plate of 19 grilled cheeses. When I expressed my amazement at the quantity of sandwiches he handed me the rest of the one he was eating. It was magical.
Also getting a taxi ride from pod 10 to Mumford and Sons because we were late, having an awesome taxi driver, and then getting called out on being late by Marcus Mumford since we were considered "people in the back".

This year was pretty low key for us. We didn't love the lineup, but Bonnaroo has become more tradition for us than anything. My "moment" this year, though, was after getting into the pit for Robert Plant. I had spent the last two hours in line in the baking sun, only to have to argue with several different assholes who were blatantly cutting the pit line and didn't care what anyone had to say about it.(Although, I was pretty much alone in standing up to them) I was so frustrated with these people, but as soon as we got into the pit, we were instantly surrounded by awesome people and then the show was just amazing. Truly made me remember why we go back every year.

Thursday, I thought I was going to die from the heat. I kept thinking "why do I do this to myself?!" Once the sun set, I was watching Glass Animals -- and the breeze hit me, I thought "THIS IS BONNAROO. THIS IS WHY I COME BACK" and never got that down again about the heat until Sunday at twenty one pilots when I ran out of water and thought I was going to pass out.

I kinda got emotional during houndmouth's set.Maybe it was all the planning that took going to Bonnaroo, or missing it last second last year due to some BS. This was my first Bonnaroo and just everyone together, singing so loud and all the people and the lights made me so appreciative that I was allowed to be there to experience that moment.
This. There were a quack ton in the air every time. Omg. If my back wasn't killing me.. wow.
For me. First time in which pit. Was there for Rhianna Giddens and pokey Lafarge. Went from turtles pit to Rhianna. That was awesome.
I missed turtles and don't wanna talk about it bc I'm heartbroken. I caught Rhiannon Giddens while waiting for Bleachers. Was very happy with her set!!
OHHH!! Sorry, I keep thinking about bonnaroo moments and I keep posting.
Sitting in line for 6.5 hours, listening to the bonnaroo radio when GOOEY BY GLASS ANIMALS comes on. I got so excited and was dancing and singing in my car. Then, less than 24 hours later, I was watching that song live.
So, I'm not even a Billy Joel fan (fantabulous piano player and musician, just not my type of music), but I choked up during Piano Man when he sang about people coming "to forget about life for a while." That's exactly why many of us go to Bonnaroo, so it was perfect...and very sad since it was the last set of the festival.

From the moment the crowd lost their collective shits to Zach G/Jon H showing up on stage, to the Hip Hop Hooray beginning (and massive crowd rush on the right side of the tent), to the killer Fresh Prince/Biggie covers to start off the Superjam. Those were the 20ish minutes that stand above everything else in my mind.
This was our first Bonnaroo and our first festival as a family. (Me, my wife and our 12 year old Zoe). Like was echoed above, the heat being brutal was almost enough to run us off... and we are from Florida...
However, Sunday, it all came together.
Watching Brandi Carlile live at the Which was a bucket list moment. The set was so good, so powerful, honest and connected that I suddenly got that all the struggles was because Bonnaroo makes you earn it. It gives more than other experiences but you have to put in the work. At that moment all the driving, the sweating, the stinking, the discomfort, the heat, all made sense.
This was followed up by getting to Rudimental for them to do "Feel The Love" where I proceeded to dance my ass off and sing loud enough that I could feel it in my gut.
That hour and half of music made everything else come into focus, making it all one big Bonnaroo moment.
Seeing the excitement that Andrea had before/during Florence. Usually it's me being the one all excited. I pick most of the shows we go to, she enjoys most of them and loves some of them as much as I do. But it's really rare when she's getting into something more than I am. I wish it happened more often.
Singing Piano Man arm in arm with people from my group.
Listening to the little voice that told me to leave deadmau5 and go to the flushable portos by This Tent - that was where I ran into token07 and we caught the end of FlyLo's set, which was awesome.
Having my ass unexpectedly slapped at 5:30 in the morning, only to turn around and see krissyjo laughing hysterically. She then practically vanished into thin air.
Hanging out by one of the vendors and seeing this one very inebriated guy just standing with his mouth hanging open. We laughed for a long time.
Heading back to camp at 5 in the morning and hearing a voice from what I assume was the Kalliope stage say "I hope you guys like those lazerz!" He sounded like a 40-year-old radio announcer who was way out of touch with his crowd.
Seeing Chance and Gambino pop up to dance at the end of FlyLo.
Continually making awkward eye contact with the bassist of the Punch Brothers at their set in The Grind on Sunday.

After the festival I smoked up in a parking lot with some people and then this goat just appeared out of no where. He then proceeded to piss and lick it up and I couldn't stop laughing as he passed by and shat pellets everywhere.
Some girl at Bassnectar was dancing bent over with her hands touching her toes for like the whole set, and I couldn't stop laughing.
Caught the top half of the Soja setlist and decided to run over and give it to the guy who caught the bottom half.
Bought a brownie from a girl who oddly enough went to college in my hometown, and listened to my neighbors Gregorian chanting while I was fucked up.

The absolute roar that went out when mumford played any song NOT from their New album. And Ed helms joining them for hopeless wanderer! -being camped in the very front of 'Adrian!' Up against tents only section(1:45 walk to arch!!!) -seeing karma at play, my gf got given 2 J's for misting strangers, among other things... -is it me, or did it seem like EVERYONE was on a ROLL this year? Even all the vendors and giant-pupils, huge grin having security guy who 'searched' me at the arch was!!
Wasn't originally planning to see them but that amazing sunset during Alabama Shakes and that set in general really put a smile on my face and turned out to be one of my favorites from this weekend. Her voice is so powerful.
Made it to Odesza after deadmau5. Got stuck in the middle of the tent and some random guy who had to have just come from running through fountain came parting a way through the crowd and followed him all the way to front row as Odesza played Bloom and Waited 4 U, my two favorite songs of theirs. Making eye contact with Harrison from Odesza a few times throughout their set and being able to see how much they were enjoying the crowd.
Everyone cheering for the Gatorade guy making Gatorade runs for everybody before Bassnectar.
Trying to decide whether to catch a little bit of Flume before the superjam and hearing him play his Slasherr edit while on the way to the tent with my friend that I brought along to their first Roo, then simultaneously looking at each other and knowing exactly where we were headed before running to That Tent and making our way half way into the tent and catching all of our favorites. Getting split up with him after the SuperJam and randomly catching eachother walking back to the tent Sunday morning after that blurry but amazing night.
The perfect Atmosphere Sunday morning watching the sunrise sitting back at the Kalliope thinking about how great the weekend had turned out.
