Looks like the same production that Kanye has been using in the past year, such as at Glastonbury and FYF Fest. Was hoping for something different.
Really? I was kind of hoping for the same. I love that lighting so much I think it's the coolest thing. I guess it would have been cool to be the first to see something new though.

That Strokes setlist is pretty disappointing. Only 16 songs, so I'm guessing that means there set is barely an hour long. Also really weird that they didnt play Last Nite or Hard to Explain. And I wish they'd play something from Comedown Machine.

I'm guessing they'll step up it up for a festival show with a wider audience. I feel like they were just having fun last night.

I would be very very excited about any of these
Is this ranked from most to least likely?
No not really, just the order they came to my mind.

I've got some good news and bad news on the weather for this weekend. The short-range higher-resolution models are suggesting that Friday will remain mostly dry, with a slight chance of a passing shower or thunderstorm. Looks like any heavy rains associated with the approaching front will become lighter and more scattered before the front passes through. Saturday looks high and dry, but the likelihood of a steady rainfall on Sunday has increased. Definitely pack a poncho/rain jacket and some closed-toed shoes for Sunday. However, I don't expect mud to be an issue. With the exception of May (which was about average), it's been a fairly dry spring in NYC.

If I had to choose a day for it to rain it might as well be the last day of the festival so there's minimal mud. Looks like we'll all be fools in the rain on Sunday! I'd have to think Kayne in the rain would be a riot anyway.
Oy that better not be the case. A couple weeks ago for the Preakness Derby they were calling for heavy rain and it held off for the most part, and this was all the way up to the day before. Skepticism should be taken

Jamie xx is doing the Samsung after party on Friday. HAIM will be there on Saturday. Open bar and free swag. Gonna be good.
So besides having a Samsung phone of course, how does one land tickets to this? The website link to RSVP leads to a bunch of other random Samsung events at 837.

Missed your chance. I posted last week when the RSVP list went live... You can still get on the waitlists though. I have no idea how that is going to work.

They almost evacuated everybody at a QOTSA concert I went to in 2013 for a storm that never happened but was heavily predicted so I have some hope. What I really want is the rain to be like Lolla 2011. I have only seen videos but I think it brought the best out of everybody and the crowds looked insane

The guy who peed on my friend during deadmau5 made the evening so magical.
What about NWS meteorologists? (I'm not one myself, but as someone in the field, I can vouch for them). Every 12 hours, each local weather forecast office issues a fairly detailed discussion of short-term and long-range weather predictions. These forecast discussions are much more informative than the typical forecast you get from Accuweather or a local news/radio station. I get that people are concerned/interested about this weekend's forecast, but it sounds like people are getting their forecasts from some of the least reliable sources out there (hence the panic about Friday).
This is my first trip to Roo but I have been watching the weather in Tennessee for a long time. I look at a weather forecast for a week out around here the same way I look at Trump.
it can be entertaining It is seldom right. I don't trust it At the end of the day It is pretty useless

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm just in denial haha. All I can do is hope it turns out for the best. The weather reports have been off more often than not around here lately. Hopefully that holds true.
