Drake and CuDi for some type of late night set sounds on point to me. I'm not sure if Roo has ever had a shared hip hop show but these two would play to each others energy and both will have new material out. Chance Raps I hope is a lock.
I love Cudi, but I don't want him back until he releases some new material that's actually good, and until his live show gets decent again. First time I saw him was amazing, second time was disappointing
I agree, it's been a let down post Indicud (not his best). I guess my hope is that a collaboration set would bring the best blend of old and new from two artist that can really take their extreme's too far lol.

have they ever even made a song together? How would a collaboration set even work?
They have had more than a few guest appearances at each others shows over the years. I personally caught them at Michigan State sharing the stage and mainly played their own hits while hype-manning. Who knows what the new material holds and they are friendly so possible but long shot for sure.

I want 2 Chainz just because he is (unintentionally) hilarious to me. I would be LOL'ing during his whole set. I don't know if it's how big he is, his lyrics, his voice, the fact that he used to go by Tity Boy, or all of the above. He's hilarious.

Why do you assume it's unintentional? 2 Chainz is a really funny guy.
I'll take your wife, give her back, nine months after that, SIMILAC! Similar to saying mama's baby's daddy maybe When we had sex I was in the Mercedes And I ain't crazy, but if that's my baby Then we gonna have to name the lil' baby Mercedes!

Agreed, he is though working on Man On The Moon 3 and another project called Speeding Bullet 2 Heaven, the single he released is actually pretty good. Hopefully those will be better than Indicud, WZRD, Satellite Flight, those were so Eh
I don't know if anyone has mentioned them or not, but I would love for De La Soul to come out to the farm. Their shows that I have been to have been wild. Crazy energy. Though I don't know how the younger crowd would feel towards them...

I'm conflicted on hoping for Kid Cudi and Schoolboy Q. Love early Cudi and most of Q's songs, but I've read a lot of negative reviews about both of their shows. I'd hate to be disappointed. Hopefully Cudi's newest album is a step up, and still excited for new Q as well.

Q is fine. It's more of a party atmosphere than anything, lots of jumping around moshing ect.
Cudi and his shows haven't been that great for a a while now. Hopefully he can come back though

That's reassuring to hear about Schoolboy. I wonder how high of a spot he'd have or where on the schedule they'd place him? Have any thoughts?

Really depends on how his new album does. Probably not in the top ten but maybe like 11-20 I would guess? Schedule wise I think he's been around too long to have a spot on Thursday. Though I would love to see him close a Thursday tent. I'm guessing something similar to what Danny Brown or Freddie Gibbs got, a late afternoon tent. Or better yet, he could be the hip hop closer in a tent on Sunday and continue that tradition (like G Eazy, Wiz, and ASAP Rocky the last 3 years). I don't think he'd belong on the Which stage though, that'd kill the rowdiness of his shows.

i don't know if it has a release date yet but when I saw q a few weeks ago he said his album is completely done.

Then I guess it's time to wait for good ole Top Dawg to decide when it should be released. I remember him and Ab Soul performing Druggies Wit Hoes part 3 a year ago, and Q telling the audience that they'll probably never release that song so they should enjoy the moment.

You realize Killer Mike played Thursday in 2013, right?

Yeah but it took a while for Killer Mike to get his recognition. Schoolboy Q has been relatively mainstream for a while now, I just don't think they'd give him a Thursday slot at this point especially with a second album coming out.

I guess. Schoolboy might be a bit too big for Thursday but that's a shame because he'll get an afternoon show ans that's never good for a hip hop show, especially one with a party atmosphere like his

Danny Brown and ASAP Ferg still had pretty energetic shows despite being at 4 in the afternoon. But still if Schoolboy could close a tent on Sunday, that'd be pretty fantastic.
