Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Who are you volunteering through? I'm looking to do the same, not sure which of the two shows yet, might try for both.
HeadCount. I know reverb was still looking for volunteers.
I was accepted through HeadCount as well, but ended up declining since they want you to be there starting 2:30 in the afternoon. At that point it's more convenient to get a cheap ticket the day of.

Yea that is unusually early for them I wonder why. Number one reason I'm volunteering is the cheapest tickets were over $150 with fees
They played box of rain last night. Really wish they hadn't taken that off the setlist for roo.
Hope we get it at SPAC as it is the first web cast night and a couple shows between Cindy and there. Although almost every time I have gotten Box of Rain live the show was stopped early due to rain and it is supposed to thunderstorm Tuesday. Going to be a fun one for us campers!
Set 1 -- Minglewood Blues / Cumberland Blues / Ramble On Rose / Black Throated Wind / Althea / Lost Sailor / Saint of Circumstance
Set 2 -- Dark Star / A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall / He's Gone / New Speedway Boogie / St. Stephen / Drums / Space / Looks Like Rain / Going Down the Road Feelin' Bad
Encore -- Black Muddy River
That Dylan Cover...... I had chills once I realized what they were playing. Bob sang loud on that one. This was a great show. Oteil sang!!! We had a great time.
And yes, so many grilled cheese vendors everywhere. But, that's how it is.
I had 3 offers on my "Let Trey Sing" Dead 50 shirt from last summer. Kinda surprised me. The VW show poster surprised me too. It will look just fine on my wall.

I would love to have a set like this in Hartford or Fenway, glad you had a good time
Man...St. Stephen, He's Gone and Dark Star? Those are three "bucket list" songs id love to hear but haven't yet. Great set imo
SPAC was great. Got my China/Rider for the new baby and me and my sister-in-law cried happy tears and danced. The Rider portion was really fun on stage and in the crowd. No Box of Rain but the double encore was unexpected and amazing. Weather was perfect, venue was great, crowd was great, camping was amazing. Mayer and Weir are getting really comfortable together and playing off and around each other. Some unusual transitions which were kinda cool to see live. Already trying to plan Pittsburgh.
Hartford was a lot of fun last night! The place was packed and the crowd was super into it - the energy was electric. I was on the lawn and while it started to rain in patches toward the end, I had a great time!
Highlights for me really had to be:
Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodleloo > Cumberland Blues
Estimated Prophet > Eyes of the World (with an Oteil bass solo) > Deal > Viola Lee Blues
...so i had this funny dream a week or so ago i can't shake....i'm at a "buckethead" show. ...never seen him (or her) in my life...(live that is)...so i'm there and he is playing this amazing, next level jam and the next thing i know i'm back stage with him drinking a beer and i offer him one....he takes off the bucket and it's,john mayer. ...i'm slackjawed...he says "yeah, the original guy did it for two years and now there's 4 of us...
I think this is because i still can't believe john mayer is a. playing with them and b. doing so well...
There were rumors Ratdog will be touring in fall/winter but that jas kind ofndied down. John also has to tour on his new album but that wont be out until spring per the Andy Cohen interview the other night. I wouldn't bet against another run later this year.

People I am connected to on snapchat might have seen this, but on Tuesday afternoon in Walmart, I saw a guy with two carts, like 15 loaves of bread, a butt load of cheese and butter, as well as propane and little flat top thing. I snapped him saying something about how I knew where he was headed tonight. Sure enough, I saw him set up on Shakedown. Side note: I have never seen anything like Shakedown here and I am surprised Hartford cops allowed it?
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I'm rewatching the Madison Square Garden show I saw last fall (the AmEx Unstaged one) and they've definitely improved since then. They sound good here, but Bob's voice is weaker and John's playing and singing sound a lot more John Mayer-y than they did at Bonnaroo. He's definitely sunk into the music a little better. The whole band is just a lot tighter now too. I've been on such a Dead kick since Roo and I'm just pumped for Fenway

Some kid on reddit just posted a pic of him with Bob saying he met him on the street. Said that Bob told him Dead and Co. will be taking a break after this tour because of Mayer's tour. He pushed his new solo album coming out so maybe a Bobby solo tour??
Did anyone here go to the Boulder, CO shows? The setlists looked incredible, especially night two with a China > Rider opener for the second set and closing the same set with a Dark Star > Morning Dew.

If true, that's a bummer. Glad I was able to catch them in Greensboro in the first run of shows as well as Roo.
Thought about pulling the trigger for the Bristow show, just couldn't swing middle of the week right after Roo.
