This move doesn't make sense to me. Are you thinking ahead at all? We had two people, Jaz and Phi, who had to decide between two people - Jaz would decide between me and Rothric (assuming he wouldn't vote for himself), and then Phi would vote for EAP and then choose between Jaz and whomever Jaz didn't pick between me and Rothric. In the chance that Phi voted first, he could still make Jaz pick if he voted for Jaz.
But now, you've given Jaz an out to cast an easy vote on Rothric to even it back out, and only Phi has to make a choice.
Just my opinion, but I don't think this is helpful for the town.

I think forcing the Jaz voters to all have to vote again in a runoff between Potent and Rothric would have been the best for gathering info. At least there wouldn't be self-preservation to hide behind. Meh.

I do have some slight suspicion of Jazmo due to his early vote on EAP. It was completely evident to people not even playing the game that Phi would be voting for EAP. Perhaps this was innocent, perhaps it was a nudge to get EAP into the runoff (which it initially did).
On mobile, but believe the correct tally is Jazmo - 4, Potent - 4, Rothric - 3.

Right. If you're innocent then that would totally be the best info gathering for you. If it wasn't clear, I meant that as strait info gathering. Nothing specific in mind as to the people invovled. No reason except for were people currently feel in the votes.
Yes. That's why I told EAP that I wasn't surprised she ended up in the original runoff. Jazmo aside, seeing two players that usual vote for EAP would be tempting bate for mafia to try for an easy stack. I was really thinking on putting EAP back in last night just but I decided against it partly for this reason.

Now that Rothric and Potent have both clarified who they would like to see in the runoff, I feel I should state my view that I would prefer a runoff of Rothric/Potent.
Seriously though (to respond to Rothric's point about me voting for EAP), I just picked a person and cast my vote. It's random, which is always the case if you look at any of my initial votes in past games (though sometimes I'll throw in a cheeky comment or two).

Does anyone have a feel on whether there is a mafia out of Jazmo/Rothric/me? I mean, obvious disclaimer that I'm not mafia, but I can't really tell between Jaz and Rothric.
I remember Jaz posting that he felt there was one mafia out of me/Roth/JR/LD but only two of us are in the runoff.

He means that if we go to a runoff as is, LD will have the only vote that will matter. You and Potent are the only ones besides LD voting for me, and you two won't be voting for yourselves.

sorry i didn't really think i was. first round there really isn't much to go on, it's more of a hindsight sort of thing. i don't know any reason to change my vote at the moment tbh.

Experience tells me the odds are on Potent likely being innocent. The ridiculous amount of silence the last couple days makes me lean even more in that direction. While part of me thinks switching things up will just cause confusion, I don't think it's wise for the townies to just except their fate and give the mafia a round.
I'm voting for Rothric for several reasons.
-I'm hesitant to vote along with a couple of the people with votes on Potent and Jaz. - I'd be voting along with the person that the situation makes look innocent. - If any of the these three is mafia in a situation as quite as this... it's likely the one about to squeak by or it was the one that did so when the runoff was at four. - Looking back, there are almost no reasons given for the votes so far. At least throwing a wrench in the gears might finally get some discussion going.
