Just thinking out loud, do we want to get JR in the runoff? That way if it looks like he's about to miss his second vote, we can just lynch him instead.
That way we don't lynch someone and then have JR auto lynched too.
Just a thought, not sure if that's common practice or not. Don't have much time though.

I think it's too late for that to happen. If Tainted and Boner both moved that seems to be the only way it could happen. I don't see Sleepy and EAP moving their votes off Rothric (I also think the two of them may be up to something...).

If he misses two votes, he is out regardless. Right?

After re-reading the rules, I don't think he is needed in the runoff. If he misses this vote, and then misses the vote during D2R2, he'll be out automatically and night will commence. So having him in the runoff just to possibly vote him out will have the same outcome, essentially.

Ah, if that's the case, then nevermind. I was just trying to make sure we didn't lose him and another from our votes all st once.

Carry on.
yeah, just sucks because the town loses the option to vote out who the see fit, and lose a day of voting records to use down the road (besides the votes we have this far, which is something, but Its those deciding votes that really matter) Here's to hoping he shows up I guess

(I didn't want to close the round at midnight on Thursday because that seemed a bit late, but if you guys think Friday 9 am is extending the round too long, I am open to switching it)
I actually think you'd be fine closing it Thursday night at 10pm EDT. But whatever you want ref, it's your call

If I'm going to be in the runoff, I think a Jazmo/Rothric runoff is the way to go. Jazmo might not be Mafia, but he's more suspicious to me then Potent. I know my vote is on Potent atm, but that's just to keep the runoff right now. Not trying to make a move to vote Jazmo straight off.
Wish some others would chime in, been the same few discussing things so far.
Pretty much agree with this. This was the runoff I'd been wanting. Not really for anything you two had done but because It would force more interesting moves.
Experience tells me the odds are on Potent likely being innocent. The ridiculous amount of silence the last couple days makes me lean even more in that direction. While part of me thinks switching things up will just cause confusion, I don't think it's wise for the townies to just except their fate and give the mafia a round.
I'm voting for Rothric for several reasons.
-I'm hesitant to vote along with a couple of the people with votes on Potent and Jaz. - I'd be voting along with the person that the situation makes look innocent. - If any of the these three is mafia in a situation as quite as this... it's likely the one about to squeak by or it was the one that did so when the runoff was at four. - Looking back, there are almost no reasons given for the votes so far. At least throwing a wrench in the gears might finally get some discussion going.
SFA>>>Potent>>>Rothric
eap>>>>rothric
I believe this is where EAP is claiming she made her case for her vote? Exactly how is this making her case? She's quoting two SFA posts (out of context, in my opinion) and she has one sentence. And, that sentence is about Jazmo v. Rothric being the runoff she wanted "because it would force more interesting moves". So now she had that runoff, she was a vote that contributed to the first lynch of Jaz, and now she's going after the second person in that runoff.

It seems to me that there are two people who are trying to get us to believe that SFA was inspector. Two people who are voting on D2R1 and D2R2 in the ways that SFA voted in the last runoff (not his preferred runoff, by the way - remember who he wanted in there? EAP). Two people who would be intimately interested in knowing whether he was inspector. Two people who I believe are mafia...

I think she's mafia as hell.
first of all, that's actually SFA's quote about who he wanted in the runoff. here it is again, sorry for the misquote:

second of all, i was one of the first two votes on jaz and i stayed there the entire time. was i supposed to switch all willy nilly just b/c everyone else did it?
nice accusations, considering you were one of the people SFA thought was guilty.
The last five vote changes have all been off of Potent. I'm hesitant to speak when in a runoff because experience has shown me that this tends to garner me votes, but does no one else find that to be just a little suspicious? If we want to vote someone straight off that's fine, but we've gone to a de facto runoff between Rothric and I because apparently everyone thinks potent is significantly less suspicious. That's a train I'm not ready to hop on (and not just because I'm in the runoff). I don't think the fact that no one jumped to save potent clears him off anything...there was so much time left in the round at that point. If nobody thought he was suspect before that's one thing, but I've never seen a mass exodus off a player like that before. You would think that if someone truly didn't have a preference between Rothric and I they would stay on potent and let the other townies decide, but instead we have players moving their votes. That piques my curiosity.
I certainly see what you are saying. There could be something to what you said last night. In that the mafia was sitting back waiting for someone to make the first move.
As far as a mass exodus off of Potent, part of that can be explained by talk of going ahead and settling this day without another runoff. So that partially explains at least some of those moves, if not all. It's certainly possible that it provided a cover for a mafia member to move their vote. But the suspects seemed limited when you consider that several of these people voted to put Potent in that position to begin with... votes that likely weren't distancing moves, to be specific. I just have a hard time rapping my head around how it could be a full on mafia push.

dude. that's what you're supposed to do. have you ever played mafia? they try to kill the inspector first.
you know what i believe? you could be mafia with one of these assholes who's told you that i like to take the bait and go nuts. i've vowed not to do that this time!!!
But I guess it's 12 hours from round close, so he should be popping in any second, right?
Do either of you guys have a feel on who is more suspicious to you besides where you currently have your votes? I've outlined who I think is suspicious. My theory (and it's only a theory) has 2 mafia, I'm still looking for a third, I have a lead but I'm not sold. Would like to hear your thoughts.

I've not been told that you would take bait and go nuts. I'm town of course so nobody would have a place to tell me that privately.
Also - I realize mafia tries to kill the inspector first. That doesn't mean they do it, and your posts seem like a mafia trying to sniff out whether you were successful, from my viewpoint.
I am torn between a tainted Boner and the alternative, but i don't think rothric needs to be in this runoff. Still debating where to place.
Do you have any theories on who may be mafia that you'd like to share? Any suspicious activity?
I do, and I kind of have a feeling for thr third you're looking for. I'm not trying to be evasive or obscure, its just a very hectic morning. At noon when I take lunch, I will lay out enough to make up for my otherwise silent and dry gameplay.

Of the three we have in this runoff, I feel the strongest about EAP. I don't have a good read on Boner right now. Based on the current votes, I'm curious to see how it plays out on Rothric. I know I suggested earlier him being in a runoff, and now I just find it odd how that played out. It just don't seem right.

Based on the exchange that has occurred so far, there are some interesting votes. Jaz had 4 votes on him - EAP being one of them. Potent - 2 - Sleepy being the other. At this stage (top of Page 4) - Rothric has 3 votes against him - one of which is Potent - the other 2 belonging to LD and Jaz. Jaz is whacked, and when he is whacked the votes lay at Boner, EAP, Tainted, JR, Rothric for Jaz until a last minute swing from Sleepy. This can be interpreted one of two ways: Jaz was mafia, and Sleepy needed a solid distancing move and felt the late minute switch could divert attention and make Jaz' plight reasonable, or Jaz wasn't mafia and Sleepy wanted to either kill Jaz or put a target on rothrics head or both.
Rothric got a lot of attention in round 2, quelled only by him and I believe one other blurting out "Guys, you could have done this already - what does this prove?" - The head scratching that came from this is what sells me on the possibly EAP / Sleepy / (? or Jaz or LD) situation. EAP seems a little sensitive to what I guess was a prior game feud ? and to me to express any sort of response is a tell in one way or another - either that she is clearly still very frustrated or is trying to address the issue in a passive way. I personally still find LD to be suspicious - I don't find Rothric or Potent to be high on my list.
And then there's Boner.
What are we going to do with you, Boner?
Tainted >> EAP
JR has time to come back and swing this (it would probably fail regardless, but there would be some civility and we are a sensitive crowd so civility is good) - you can all examine my logic and explain why I'm wrong - I'm all ears and fingers over here. I just don't see a reason for Rothric to be in this thing, I haven't seen Boner say anything that screams dirty bomb, and I haven't felt confident in EAP since before this vote.
