Yeah guys, I honestly can not even tell you the level of disappointment/anger/depression that I feel right now. I'm beyond sad. I really needed this fest and I just got fucked. Luckily, found out before I got out of Florida that it was cancelled so didn't have too much driving. Anyways fml, literally everything went wrong with this trip for me and I just kept pushing no matter what and was determined to make it happen. But, then the fest had final say on my fate. I'll probably never see most of these bands now and that kills me. For those of you that live there, have fun seeing those shows. I'm going to continue to drowned my sorrow in alcohol and other substances
Nope, not yet. Hoping the demand for Nico > FlyLo will push them to do a double header. Idk how likely that is. But I'd one or both are announced for today def going to that one tonight.

Damn sorry y'all. This news is a massive bummer. I hope everyone manages to get into their rescheduled shows of choice! That Slowdive/BJM is sure tasty looking.
Just got my Animal Collective ticket. Kept giving me weird errors with my CC, finally got it to go through. Was freaking out, because it kicked me back to the beginning once, and it said tickets were unavailable. I kept refreshing while spewing curses, and finally got a ticket to pop up.
But I have my ticket. Monie if you're interested in this, I'd try and get a ticket NOW!

This Slowdive/BJM/Twin Peaks bill is too good but it's gonna be a huge mess getting tickets. Apparently people are already standing in line to get them. No official word on the show yet from Scoot Inn either.
Hoping they put tickets on sale online - seems dumb to have people wait outside in the torrential weather that's supposed to happen this afternoon/early evening without guarantee of getting into the venue

Well, my crew, which is now down to two after the cancellation prompted one of our guys to cancel his late Thursday flight, is trying to rebound. We secured a hotel near downtown for the next three days and were able to jump on the Animal Co tics. I'm not going to lie though: We were sitting at the bar yesterday at Jackalopes when the news dropped and I almost cried in my beer.

think I decided I'm not gonna drive in. No way I can get there in time for Slowdive tickets and AnCo sold out while I was driving (I was refreshing constantly starting at like 12 and it didn't actually go on sale till I had to leave). I would really really like to see the Sleep show but oh well. I think I might go to Psycho Vegas to see them, specially now that im saving money with this
Shiz just woke up 30 minutes ago and i see the Animal Collective show at Emos is already sold out. Its only $10 and that's for one of the headliners, so i bet all the other shows will be around $10-20 or less. Hoping for Flylo for tonight since it looks like the Scoot Inn thing will get sold out soon. Can't believe people are already waiting in line...
Stubbs should just cancel the Blue October show and have some one cool play there instead.

Highest percentage of rain today is at 60% and not until 11pm-2am. The rest of thenday is 30%. Saturday is clear. Sunday 30% for some of the day.
Levitation is victim of some serious bullshit. No other outdoor activities we're cancelled (Eeyoores Birthday, Small SXSW Volunteer Parties at Volente Beach). I've never heard of a fest being cancelled a full day prior due to weather that was skeptical to begin with, not had even begun.

Yea. It's definitely some bull shit. Esp since that AnCo ticket buying situation was a clusterfuck. It wouldn't give me option to buy, then when it did it wouldn't let me check out. Then I refreshed and it said sold out. Serious bull shit.

edits: Twin Peaks, Slowdive, BJM tickets are sold at door only. Ween is out. Weather Warlocks (feat. members of King Gizz) will be playing a show tonight @ 6:30 at Barracuda. Sunn O)), Sleep, Boris tomorrow, no update on where Black Angels, Allah Lahs, and Heron Oblivion tomorrow at Scoot Inn Nicolas Jaar may be officially out too.- This one stings, real bad.
