2017: 2/24 Twenty One Pilots 4/1 Radiohead 6/7 Glass Animals 9/10 Modest Mouse 9/21 Arcade Fire 9/29 Kings of Leon 10/3 Foster the People 10/17 The xx 10/22 LCD Soundsystem 11/8 Bon Iver
I would expect Chance to be in the top 8. Didn't he close Perry's in 2014?
I'd see him as more of a sub, but he could be a #8 or a #7. If he drops a real LP then headlining becomes more possible.
They're saying he headlined a stage a couple years ago (which he did), not speculating his name as a headliner. He's probably a top 10 name, especially given his involvement with the Chi community.

Does anyone else think that LCD wouldn't be on Samsung? Looking at Lolla's past history, the more popular act gets booked on Samsung.
2015
Samsung: Sir Paul McCartney/Metallica/Florence
Bud Light: Sam Smith/The Weeknd/Bassnectar
2014
Samsung: Eminem/Outkast/Kings of Leon
Bud Light: Arctic Monkeys/Calvin Harris/Skrillex
2013
Samsung: The Cure/Mumford and Sons/The Killers
Bud Light: Phoenix/Nine Inch Nails/Postal Service
2012
Samsung: Red Hot Chili Peppers/Jack White/The Black Keys
Bud Light: Black Sabbath/Justice/Avicii
Even with a 4th day, and their huge reunion, that still doesn't change the fact that LCD wouldn't fill half the crowd at Grant Park on Samsung. Yes I know they're headlining Coachella, but I remember when Phoenix headlined Coachella, but was on Bud Light that same year. Florence was on top line at Chella as a pre-headliner, and second line at Roo....and headlined Samsung at Lolla. Love LCD, but IMO Bud Light would make more sense, and based on history: they will be on Bud Light.
Lolla 2016
? #1- No idea, but it's not Radiohead.
2- Radiohead
3- The Strokes
4. Shitty teeny bopper act like Macklemore or J. Cole

I could see them being billed 4 but still get the North stage kind of like how Black Sabbath was 2nd but on the North while #3 Black Keys played South. I think something similar happened in 2011 as well but I forget who was billed higher between muse and coldplay.
LCD could definitely be 4 but still play North while Mackelmore or J.Cole fills the South stage, which is what I'm kinda expecting and hoping to happen

Why do you think anyone's going to be billed over Radiohead? Really don't remember that ever happening before. Also, Strokes at 3 doesn't make sense considering last times the strokes played they were 5. They would be perfect to headline against J.Cole or someone awful

The Strokes are still very popular, look at their billing at ACL last year(also run by C3), they headlined a brand new festival in Landmark, and they're third on Governor's Ball. That's enough to predict that they'd be in the Top 4 at Lolla, especially when people have wanted a Strokes set for a while now.
In regards to Radiohead, I love Radiohead, but with all the tweeting that they have something big planned. This is our anniversary, we want to do something special. It would be silly to have three repeat acts headline.
I'm still saying with Livenation providing more budget, and since we got Paul McCartney and Metallica out of nowhere. Anything is possible.
U2-Radiohead-The Strokes-LCD-Macklemore and Ryan Lewis-Jack U-Lana or Sia-Disclosure. That's a possible 8 headliner stack.
So is
Beyoncé-Radiohead-The Strokes-LCD-J. Cole-Jack U-Lana or Sia-Disclosure.
Beyoncé and U2, as well as Jay-Z all have good rapport with Livenation.

Yeah in 2011, Muse played on Bud Light, and Coldplay played South.
