7pm (or whenever) Bluesboro (on the NE corner of the Square) Look for the Old Courthouse in the center on the Square and you'll know you're in the right place
From Knight's Inn - straight down Church St on the Square
From Exit 78 - Go down Old Fort Pkwy to Broad St., Right on Broad St., Left on Main St and Bluesboro is on the far corner of the Square.
So I think we were too late for the meet-up?! We showed up around 9 but there were only 3 guys at Bluesboro, who I couldn't tell were 'roo people or not..
There may have been only 3 of us left by then as the place was dead. But we left around 9 so maybe it wasn't us. We asked anyone who came in if they were going to Roo.
I was wondering if anyone would start this thread again this year. Should have known it would be you, soulmate.
We've only had 5-6 people at each M'boro pre-party but it's been fun. Bluesboro has shut down and , I think, re-opened as The Rooster (not surprising with how dead it was last year.) I'll check it out and see if it's suitable for another meet-up.
Maybe hmm we should think of another place? We can see when the time draws near! This year we will have quite a few with us. We have friends coming in from all over the States, and meeting us Wednesday night. Maybe we should have a pool party at the hotel! Loads of people there for sure!

I'm in for a pool party. Only problem could be if we get too many people the hotel may object (not likely if past years are an indicator.) And alcohol and food might be a problem.
We'll see what everyone thinks as the time gets closer. Thanks for the invite to your pool.
hahaahaha Troo! Yeah its just an idea. I remember getting back to the hotel lastyear and the pool was rocking with a sold out hotel and everyone drinking and having fun. Its an idea! Ourdoor patio would be nice too!
I can't go out of my way to meet people, but if you happen to see a poor man's Jack Black clad in a brown Eels shirt depicting a happy family around town Wednesday... don't be afraid to come up and say hi.

i may or may not be at the blue rooster tonight. I probably most likely definitly will be at the blue rooster tonight. idunno whats going over there tonight, but i need some bar hoppin' to settle my Roo anxieties and may be over there at the bar for a brew er two.....
