I really figured I was going to be whacked after I came at SFA so hard (then instead the mafia just played their hand to get me voted off D3); I wasn't inspector but I've played with him enough to know by D2 there was something up with him for sure.

This whole things boils down to me supposedly being such a threat that the mafia can't let me live. I clearly wasn't a threat in that example. In fact, I was so wrong that I was helping the mafia out at times. The other player's reputations are irrelevant.
I'm often wrong in this game. There is nothing stopping the mafia from using that, while also keeping me alive for a "SFA shouldn't be alive" late game lynching.

That's different. Mike D is no less suspicious than you. I don't want either of you alive past day 2 if I'm mafia. Almost hard to conceive you both would ever past to the end.
After thinking about it, I think us townies need to not be too hard on ourselves. Yea, we lost the game, but we did end up lynching two Mafia in two straight days. While that's good for the town, with the inspector dead after the first round that allows the Mafia to whack whoever they want to intentionally lead us down the wrong paths, which is what happened - no one really expects the town to lynch two Mafia right from the outset. It's such an unlikely scenario that that is the case, I don't think we should blame ourselves for not giving that notion too much credence. We were confused because we were in a confusing situation. None of the whacks pointed to SFA at all. And he's one of the best active players on the board right now, so I don't really see any shame in us being outwitted by him through the last three rounds.
Honestly I'm kinda glad I was whacked before the last round (so far I'm 0 for 2 in such situations as a townie). I didn't really have a clue who was Mafia at that point, and while SFA was on my radar (as indicated in my last post while alive), I can't say I would have definitely voted for him...Farris you seem Mafia as fuck when you type those long-ass posts with the CAPS LOCK ON IMPORTANT SENTENCES and stuff. That's just me though.

Duely noted I'll keep that in mind for the next game thanks Jaz. And I totally agree with you about not being hard on ourselves. We did a decent job given we went in the wrong way thinking for pretty much the whole game.
