This whole post read as fairly confusing/vague to me, ending in the question "so...who knows?" - and I have tended to find SFA's posts as town very helpful and easy to follow in the past. That isn't hard evidence of anything whatsoever, but it is something I noticed.
Are you serious? I gave my uninformed opinion on the first round whack and it's suspicious for being vague and unhelpful? I'm not sure what I'm suppose to say to that really? I guess, in the future, I just won't post unless I have a strait forward answer to everything going on.
Okay so you had these suspicions of Potent by the end of D1. Then as you post to place your vote on D2R1, you don't mention him AT ALL. What changed? You put me into the running instead because you want a new face. That's fine - but it makes me wonder why you've dropped your earlier suspicions of Potent.
I didn't drop anything. The first sentence references Jaz and NBF's post right about me. In which Jimmy and Potent were being discussed and Potent got a vote. It seemed pretty clear the runoff was going in that direction so I voted to expand it thinking we'd have three or four people in. Pretty simple.
I'd also point out that I discussed Potent with Farris earlier. I also went on to question Potent about he reasons he felt he was being set up. So your overstating all this quite a bit. Especially since I'm far from the only player to not vote for everyone they mention suspicion of.
I'd like to make the same suggestion as last round and say we put fresh meat in this runoff if we want a chance to win. I'm fine being one. I fount it odd nobody mentioned me much last round.
Then you say this again, that you want fresh meat.... and you vote for me again at the beginning of the day. Like you did in D2. How is that the best application of putting "fresh meat" into the run off?
Knowing I am town, it is suspicious to me that you've now voted for me twice without much reason - and on one of the days (d2), you had actually previously stated reasonable suspicion over someone else, who you chose to not vote for.
In summation: you seem to be playing differently this game. so my vote is on you. I want to see where things go from here.[/quote]
And you are playing like you always do? I'm not sure what you think I should do? People aren't talking, so I don't have much to talk about or analysis. Not sure how that's my fault? It does seem wise to push for me being in a runoff for playing different when you've admitted to playing different yourself.
I gave my reasons for voting for you both rounds. Neither were meant as hard votes and I never pushed you to go forward in a runoff. And you also still haven't answered my question when I voted for you this round.
SFA, unless I'm missing something you're trying to say, I still don't see how your vote of Tainted in D1R2 shows there's no connection between yourself and Carini.
Yes, Carini started D1R3 with a vote on Tainted, but then you ultimately changed yours before the day was over. Without me knowing both Carini and your roles, I can't draw much from it beyond you two ended up not voting together in the end. Maybe your Mafia, maybe both of you are town. I can't say at this point.
I'm just saying there is nothing showing any meaning between the fact that we ended up voting separately in day 1. Is there? Which was the reason you brought you and I up at the beginning of day 3. Yes? I'm saying you can't look at the timing of the votes and draw any conclusion that Carini was voting based on knowledge of my name. On the flip side, if he was voting for Tainted because he had his name I still helped get Tainted in that position, irregardless of my vote switch.
But whatever, since everyone is having such a hard time understanding me then fucking vote me off. I don't care at this point.

You're right, not trying to say that that alone is reason to vote you off. When I brought it up, I was trying to make sense of the game by looking at who voted for whom. I'm only still talking about it because you keep asking me about it.
And agreed that is was your vote which helped ultimately get Tainted get lynched. If Carini was Inspector, it's possible that neither Tainted nor Farris was his given name. He could have simply been watching to see how his given name voted and who they voted with.

No, I know you weren't saying I should be. I was just generally frustrated(more with myself) because it's apparent I'm having trouble communicating ideas this games. Which has been brought up by numerous people.
And I'm not saying anything I do should be looked into. My point was more that I think the circumstances still place it on equal footing Although, we've vetted other players more then me, so it's expected people should look into what I've done.
True. I'd think most inspectors would make the least telling move possible in round 1. But who knows? Last time I was inspector I made a move to vote for my name early because I assumed the round was young and it would get buried in discussion, etc.
Something just seems off to me about him this game, from the Farris vote switch to the lack of clarity in some of his later posts. Other people have mentioned how he may or may not be tied to either of the whacks, so I won't rehash that. At the very least I think he should be in the runoff for the sake of having new faces and to see how other players react to those new faces. I'm not really suspicious of Rummy and although I'm wary of Farris, I think having someone new is valuable at this point. I also see no to cast a wider net than there already is. Overall I'd like to see SFA, Farris, and Dragon, simply because he's gone through the game pretty much unscathed up to this point.

So, right now, SFA has 2 and Rummy, Jaz, and Farris each have 1, right?
I've been kind of focused on Farris much of this game, but I am often wrong about who I'm focused on early on.
I kind of agree that I'd like to see Dragon in the runoff because I think he's been kind of weird with his posts re: Jaz, but I kind of think maybe Jaz should be involved in the runoff too, just to have both sides of that equation up against each other. Since Dragon doesn't have any votes right now, it seems like voting for him wouldn't necessarily be effective, so I'm going with Jaz, but I'm not sure I feel good about that.

You know, I think having Dragon and Jazmo in a runoff is a good idea too. I've asked repeatedly for him to expand on his comment and he won't.
I'm heading to bed shortly, but will be up early tomorrow to check on the game. Moving my vote to Dragon.

Sorry I was gonna post last night and forgot. I'm happy with the runoff the way its shaping up, I could reason voting for either Rummy or Dragon. Originally I was going to go with Dragon but something about Rummy has me looking her way. The whacks could have gave us more info and sadly there are many possibilities still up in the air. I was expecting the inspector to show their face today which basically tells me either Tainted or Carini were inspector. Anyhoo,

Apologies for being so late again. I will admit this game hasn't been a priority like they usually are for me. (I blame Fallout 4 for sucking my life away)
But to elaborate on another vague post of mine, Rummy has been acting different and I am not sure of Dragon since I hadn't played with them before so I'm more willing to lean on the info I do have and Rummy brings me that way, will be interested to see what happened between SFA and Rummy since they have been having a spat. I haven't forgot about Jaz either, at this point I'd be surprised if we have less than two mafia in the runoff, at least ones gotta be in the runoff so I feel good going into things.

I didn't intend to bring up those posts as hard evidence of anything - this has been an odd game in that I feel like the two whacks haven't really given me that much indication towards anyone in particular. I suspect that Jimmy was a whack that occurred mostly because the MAfia didn't have a good leaning towards anyone at that point, which leaves me to think that they might've indeed thought that carini was inspector because two misdirection/random whacks in a row wouldn't make sense. But looking at Carini's posts didn't guide me to one person that I felt super strongly about voting for, so I chose you because you seem to be playing/analyzing things differently from any other game I've played with you. Could that be an off base suspicion? Of course. I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers so much! We are both voting for each other. We shall see how it plays out.
I gave my reasons for voting for you both rounds. Neither were meant as hard votes and I never pushed you to go forward in a runoff. And you also still haven't answered my question when I voted for you this round.
Wasn't your question simply "why did you vote for me?" That's what I was showing evidence of, in quoting those posts of yours and commenting on why I found them potentially suspicious. Or is there another question I missed?
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

But if they had no leaning towards Inspector, why whack Jimmy? I imagine SFA or myself would be a wiser choice, unless maybe they left us alive because of the heat being drawn from late-round vote switches.

I was thinking precisely this, especially in relation to SFA.
Also, hasn't SFA been whacked D1 like 3 or 4 games in a row before this one? If I were Mafia this round, I might argue to let him live to D2 just so that he doesn't start hating the game and its players forever haha, but I'm at times too empathetic in this game admittedly.
Of course you want to play smart. But getting whacked every. single. D1. would be old really really fast.
Or, conversely, he hasn't been whacked yet because he is Mafia. A definite possibility - and another reason why I feel good with my vote on him for now.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
If Carini was Inspector, Jazmo and Farris are the ones he expressed his suspicion of. My initial instinct is to go for Jaz, but I have a hard time voting along Jim the Luck DЯagon atm. His play has been very peculiar, and he still won't offer any explanation regarding his statement of Jazmo and Farris.
This game has been strange from the start, so it's hard to tell who's legitimately acting differently, and what's just a result of the game itself.

I'm pretty much in agreement with this, but I am currently voting alongside Dragon, mainly because I feel like Jaz's lack of reaction to Dragon's peculiar playing is also suspicious.

Eh, this is only his second game and last game he was voted out in the first round so I don't really know what constitutes peculiar for him. And considering that I've already been accused of possibly throwing things out there that could possibly provide cover for the mafia, I felt it unwise to say something based on so little merit.
Jim the Luck DЯagon still has offered zero explanation, despite being online several times since saying he'd give some. I just can't bring myself to vote along side him at this point.
I don't have a very strong leaning towards either SFA nor Rummy, so at this point, going to vote along with the person Dragon is voting for, Jaz.
Hoping some activity picks up before the round closes.

Rothric >>> SFA
I was really hoping for that explanation, too.
If I switch now, I either pile on to SFA or vote for Rummy, tying it up between the two of them, and leaving Dragon as the only one not voting for one of the two. If I do that and he doesn't switch, that leaves it as another runoff. If he does switch, that puts him as a deciding vote (unless someone else switches off of one of those two).
I don't know how Rummy plays. It seems like she started out relatively vocal and then quieted down. But it's hard to fault her too much for that because the same could arguably be said about me and a some other folks as well, really. I don't know if it was because of Thanksgiving or what, but this game seems like it has kind of just trudged along.
I guess I'm switching to Rummy. I don't like the idea of leaving this somewhat in Dragon's hands, but I don't really want to leave things the way they are now.

I'd like to see someone new in this run off, and reviewing D2 in junction with the whack, I feel like I'd like to take a closer look at SFA.
Rummy>SFA
I'm fine with new faces, like I said. But could you give an example of what I did in day 2 that sticks out with regards to the whack?
Not really. The original post you voted for me in only mentioned viewing day 2 with the whack in mind. So I asked what specifically you were seeing. Which seems totally different from what you brought up in your longer post were you quoted several of my post. That's one I can understand. So It's not really an issue I guess. At the time it just seemed like you didn't have any details and were just trying to fly by with "because of the whack" and hope that stuck.
But my thoughts in general are that I can't really defend myself against things like "he's not being clear." I'm dyslexic. It's not a secret and it's not magically better or worse depending on my role. I'm also not a mind reader so saying I'm analyzing things differently or not finding my post helpful isn't all on me. I can't force people to speak.
Besides that I don't really have anything else to say. I didn't vote for Potent in a reasonable enough time frame. I'm not being clear. I'm still not sure on what? I thought I reexplained the only issue brought to my attention?
Rothric is the only one that brought up a possible link with me and the whacks. I think I explained my side of it the best that I can. If it's not clear then whatever. Vote me off. I'm not all that interested.
