I'm considering going to the Atlanta show. There are just a lot of good shows being announced right now and about 10 bucket list acts that are touring next year, so I've got to decide how much time to be away from the family. Hopefully a few of us can coordinate and meet up at the ATL show if I make it.
3 Teeth who is opening on this tour posted "Excited to finally announce the first half of our US tour dates with Tool and Primus" on Facebook.
Could be good news for more dates being added.
Yea they said last week that this was going to be an extensive tour. So there will definitely be more dates added. What's weird to me is they have that other opener. I've never seen Tool with more than one opener. And the opener is a big band like Primus. Why do they need the other opener? That just takes away from the amount of time Tool and Primus can play. I'm just being greedy.

Tool wouldn't play more then 2 hours no matter how many openers, and that would probably be the max. Think they played for around 1.75 hours during most of their shows the '14 tour.

I know Tool is pretty much set in how long they will play, but having another opener takes away from Primus.
So just curious if anyone has any details about how much the VIP package is? Rothric, I know you did the VIP for the Austin show last year...how much was it, if you recall? I do remember you saying that it was worth it, but you also were able to be seated in the first of two rows on the floor. I decided not to go to the VIP event at Monster Mash just based on the price. Just wanting to know if it's worth spending the money on.
EDIT: oh, and count me in for San Antonio! If I'll travel to AZ to seem these two bands together, you best be assured that I'll seem them in my hometown!!!
Thx, bro!!! Not really what I was wanting to hear, but I was expecting around that price. F that if no front two rows are included...even then, I'd have a hard time trying to justify the price.
Ya, it's $500. And you have to be a member of Tool Army for this one it seems. I think it cost $50 to join TA. Assuming this one comes with tickets in the first few rows, but haven't seen all the details.

Got three tickets in section 118 row JJ in Nashville. My friend got them through the app. I got shut out through the website. Super stoked he was able to grab some!

Had tons of people trying. Was able to get 2 tickets in Sec 222. Not the best. But at least we're in the building! Couple of my friends are in the nosebleeds.
