Well, here's a crazy story: a guy that rode the school bus with me is front of house soundman for Sturgill Simpson. I just scored a backstage pass for Forecastle.
You meant to say for Slossfest with your good buddy Solidrock right!? ...that will be awesome.

Thursday: Inforoo party at Island Winds West, may go to DJ Jazzy Jeff if I feel like walking around to the north entrance.
Friday: Grove/VIP pool > Suffers > Joseph(pool) > VIP lunch > White Reaper > condo (dry clothes) > Mac Demarco > MGMT > Weezer > Phoenix
Saturday: Grove/VIP pool > Mondo Cozmo > Mutemath (pool) > RKS/VIP lunch > condo (dry clothes) > Lewis Del Mar > Band of Horses > The Head and the Heart > Sigur Ros > last 30 minutes of 21 Pilots.
Sunday: Grove/VIP pool > Sutso > Shaggy (pool) > Strand of Oaks > stuffing as much shrimp into my face as possible > condo (dry clothes) > Franz Ferdinand > Young the Giant > Warpaint > grab some Spicy Pie if I have not previously > Mumford
Mine and your music schedules are almost spot on no lie! Other then reverse 21 pilots tbh. Also might go see first 15 of Dillon Francis then Phoenix. And Pardison Fontaine starts my day Sunday
If there is one consistent truth here it is that watching someone live on the beach at Hangout us waaaay different than YouTube, audio only, or what someone told you. Agree with @radius Claus that I will probably enjoy Phoenix a lot. I'm torn between 21 Pilots on the beach with a breeze from VIP and Sigur Ros in the hot tent. Probably 21 Pilots. I've beat up on Mumford but really like folk, bluegrass, style music and they will probably be my weekend favorite. I'm pretty happy with the plan coming together for next weekend.
What are your bluegrass picks for Roo?
I think the Sunday That tent is pretty much all folk or bluegrass. Ed Helms superjam, Margo Price, others I have on a list at home.

just rebooked for next year. I mean, who am I kidding. (and they held the rate!)
Jam Cruise will kick Hangout's ass. You can bank on that. But then again, someone of your wherewithal probably already will be at both of those anyway.

Ha, I may do that to because I assume that's the 3 songs my kids never let me turn from on the radio.
...I think I see how you resolve conflicts. Is Sigur Ros the only show you can't view from VIP?
dont go see the last part of twenty one pilots if you want the 3 radio songs because they do those pretty early in their set. the last few songs are off the older album. but do go if you want to see a good show

hmm, by wherewithal I assume you mean musical discernment?...because I haven't been able to pull off any of the cruises or la playa's etc. I feel like your subconscious is telling you to meet us all at the HO and you're fighting it...lashing out.

Really? We should meet up!
For sure been going since 2012 and I'm the boards since 2013 and honestly have never met up with any of y'all on the board. I'd like to meet up with you and some others! Let's make it happen!

I'm going River Whyless, Margo Price & the Bluegrass Superjam. There's a couple other fine bluegrass bands, but I've already seen them.

That was financial wherewithal. I've only been on Cruise to the Edge inaugural (13), and it was semi-expensive to do so. I can swing Jam Cruise, but it's right on the heels of Day for Night (a real [tm] festival) and Christmas. So I don't know yet. It's an idea.

...still feels a little soon.
Edit: Sparky told me to say that, but her humor can be a little harsh sometimes. Come to the I double dub party and say hello!

Quick, practical question for all you HOF pros. Do beer/food vendors accept credit/debit cards, or is this a Cash Only establishment. I've only been once before in 2014 and can't remember!

Are you coming to the Inforoo party on Thursday?
Will try and make that for sure! Will be going to the pre party that night though.

Usually cash for the most part. They will have atm's but I always try and go ahead and have the cash ready.
