Yeah. Most vendors took cards last year. Some had cash only lines that moved a lot faster. I always bring cash for festivals. Mostly for convenient sake. Partially because I'm pretty sure my card was compromised because of one of those square apps a while back.
Quick, practical question for all you HOF pros. Do beer/food vendors accept credit/debit cards, or is this a Cash Only establishment. I've only been once before in 2014 and can't remember!
I have no earthly clue because I'm VIP. The merch vendors took cards and I bought my Thursday drinks/Spicy Pie with cash.

me either, but for different reasons. I'm a believer in location, location, location. I aim at staying within a 5 minute walk and just make trips to my own "cash bar" when I need a cold adult beverage or a bite to eat.I haven't spent a dime inside the fest gates for anything other than loyalty tickets in years. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to handle the whole VIP thing, but I'm sure Sarah will help.
They are expecting bad storms here tonight and tomorrow. The fifteen day outlook is good for a Thursday and Friday but, 40% chance of thunderstorms Saturday. I can't post anything in messages from my iPad.
The 92 Zew crew is featuring Hangout bands. Caught some Phoenix today and sounded pretty good. Still no takers on ticket. Plenty takers for shuttle pass.

So technically you did buy your drinks and food with a credit card.

I can't wait to see y'alls reactions when you walk into the Grove for the first time! Mimosa and Krispy Kreme doughnut? Don't mind if I do!

I heard shuttle passes are going for $80 right now. Crazy!
Want me to post yours on Reddit? You want 300 for the pair, right?
$300 for the pair? not each. I think I have a buyer for you.
$300 for one shuttle pass and one GA ticket. I paid $359. Shuttle passes going for $75-80 now and no trouble selling that. Trying to sell the "pair" together to make the ticket more attractive.

Sorry, I thought it was two passes. I won't be able to help. Cheapest shuttle pass on Stubhub right now is $175 + fees. You may be able to sell that their for $120 and then if you sell the GA separately for $200 you should be able to get rid of them. Good luck either way.
I was drinking enough last night to offer three different people a free ticket and place to stay if A) they drove me to Pensacola and B) they drove home from Hangout Friday and Saturday (wouldn't have been able to make Sunday) and back home Sunday. All had to work. I was wanting to be in that tent for Sigur Ros on Saturday, and with the Phoenix add, shit got better on Friday as discussed 10 pages ago. However, I really don't need to blow that kind of a wad of cash for 2 days so I'm glad they had to work.
Just gotta get through today, Monday and Tuesday then we hit the road Tuesday after work.
We watched a few clips from Middleands last night. I saw where Big Gigantic brought out Gramatik and covered some Grizmatik. And then the Snails set looked kind of fun. I liked the main stage and light installations on it. We caught a little bit of GRiZ where he stopped his set so the cherry picker could get someone down from a tree. Looks like the neighbors were in an uproar, and they arrested 42. Y'all have a good time?

Omg that fest was the shit. Top notch stage production. The main stage was insane with beautiful scenery. Trees all around to create lots of shade but they also never seemed to be in the way of your view. Then they had lights in the trees as well as more shade covers. Tons of lazers, fog, flame throwers, confetti, streamers on every set. It also never felt too crowded. The street performers walking around juggling, stilt walking, puppet show beatboxing or even a midget in a horse drawn cart yelling "get out of my way!" is all a huge plus for entertainments and there was loads more in the camp.
The camp set up had a central area called conquers court that had food and late night stage that ran from 1-4am with shows and the best part was bc it was in camp you could bring your ice chest of beer for snails, nghtmre, tokimonsta and more. There was also a nightly bon fire and a moving stage sorta like at roo but this one was a pirate ship.
During the day there was archery tag, chalice making, tie dye shirts and bandana making, slack line walking, those bumper balls you put your body in and other shit I'm sure I'm forgetting but the best thing to do was drink beer all day to prep for shows lol. All free btw.
There was also sound camping that basically went from 1am-7am and it was loud as fuck across the entire festival area. 12th planet and few other threw down some secrets sets there. It was like 10 mad max style festival stages people constructed. Good time but dont plan of sleeping til the suns up.
