Ticket and shuttle pass sold. Move to Island Winds/beach tomorrow. Thursday and Friday look good. Saturday "extreme" UV, heat, etc. Gonna be hot that day. Sunday chance of storms, clouds, and a warm not hot. I'm ready for the festival.
Been working late to stay caught up. The only thing getting me through the deadlines is thoughts of Hangout (and RKS on repeat...cannot wait to see those guys live). Can't wait for Thursday!
Same forecast as 2010. Woke up to storms and drove home. The opened gates and let everyone in later in the afternoon when the storms moved on. I missed TAB. Especially with VIP I will ride that out and stay for sparkysarah's shrimp feast.

Hopefully we will see the typical beach weather pattern for this time of year. Most of the storms should flare up during the heat of the day and blow away quickly. The sea breeze should also force most of the storms to stay north of the beaches.
Have/had a good run of free shows for the Rochester Lilac Fest (Start Making Sense - Talking Heads Tribute, Get the Led Out - Zeppelin Tribute, Ripe yesterday which was awesome, Lettuce today, Big Head Todd and the Monsters on Friday and Turkuaz on Sunday) so that is getting me through but this weekend I will be hate liking all of sparkysarah's Gulf pics.
Livexlive doesn't have their streaming schedule out, but they will be streaming Saturday and Sunday. The only things they have listed in the ad are Phoenix, 21 Pilots and Major Lazer. I would guess they will announce the full schedule Thursday or Friday.

I was looking for the same thing. I've never seen a stream on that site, hopefully it's not complete dogshit. It's gonna be shitty all weekend in Chicago, I'd like to hook that stream up to my tv and just have some ppl over to booze and watch.
It is supposed to hit a record of 88 today according to local weather channel. Agree with brewdude that the coast is not like three miles inland. It is supposed to be 84/72 this weekend. The problem is it looks like a cool front is going to pass thru this weekend. I've seen Saturday evening til Sunday evening and Sunday evening to Monday evening. If it comes thru during the day they could shut it down, music, for a couple hours and then re-open.
In my experience with festivals closing down due to weather.... just keep moving around until security actually has to walk you out. Chances are the storm will clear and they'll re-open the gates before they can shuffle 40k people out the gates.

I don't know much about LiveXLive, but they did announce the acquisition of Wantickets yesterday - so maybe they are legit?
That's sort of the plan at my house for the next few weekends as well. We'll watch some of Hangout Fest this weekend, but there is a free festival called "Bayou Boogaloo" which is about 8 blocks from my house along Bayou St. John. Zigaboo Modeliste's Funk Review is HL Friday; Cracker is HL Saturday and then we're hitting the Sigur Ros concert Sunday. Next weekend is a trip to Texas for Memorial Day Weekend, but then it's vegging at home for Primavera Sound for June 1st weekend and then Bonnaroo the weekend after that. Lots of booze and recliner time in the forecast.
