Thoughts so far: hangout is a great experience when the weather is cooperating. The heat was rough Friday and I was bummed about sigur ros being cut short because I was loving it. The crowd wasn't very big comparatively but the tent was basically filled we weren't packed in like sardines though. Still having a great time. Great sets from weezer, Andrew McMahon, mondo cozmo, local natives, head and the heart, Joseph etc. I looked for y'all at Joseph but couldn't find y'all. I don't really know what anyone looks like except the ones who use their picture. I think I may have seen Sarah leaving Lewis Del Mar? But anyway my shirt says "take that for data" today and I'll be at strand of oaks. Happy final day guys!!
Got the truck mostly packed so I'm going to try and catch as much as weather permits. It is cooler today. As long as I can sit and listen, thumbs up. Legs and back are protesting this morning for abusing them yesterday.
How was the crowd for Sigur Ros. We left 21P at like 940 n they had already evacuated
What a wild night.
When we got there at 845 there was barely anyone but it seemed to fill up a bit by the time they started. Guys I'm still so sad they ended that so abruptly. Why didn't they push their start time up too? That was such an unforgettable experience. Thank goodness for Shaggy.

Weather doesn't look good for a significant part of the day. Looks like a break til about 11:00, then an hour or two of light rain, and then another hour or two flood. I think they called the show for wind and rain last night vice lightning. That tells me it is likely the same will happen this afternoon. I'm going to wait it out.

I am thankful for a lot of good bands. Almost everyone I've seen brought their A game. I would have like to see pilots. Hope to see Shaggy and Mumford today.
Boy, that Hangout Fest lineup would have really been a dud if it wasn't for them pulling awesome rare acts Frank Ocean and Sigur Ros! Can't wait to see those sets, in their entirety
21 Pilots were killing it. The Mutemath collab I was hoping for was amazing. Tearing Up My Heart and Lane Boy with the drum battle between their drummers was sweet. Also Tyler missing his leap onto the piano was pretty funny to see live considering he was somehow ok after. Head and the Heard covering Hunger Strike was great too. Impressed by Mondo Cozmo and Susto.
I'm downloading app on last day. Probably not a lot of help. You and I had better handle on weather last night. They closed the grove about 8:30 and told me they were evacuating at 9:15....they knew. Too many times HOMF could communicate critical information and avoid headaches and hazards but failed.
I think if I can get in restaurant at 11:00, I'm good for awhile. Shaggy may be soggy. Lightning or high winds...please make the call in time to get 45,000 people safe. Rain, play on.
Going light today. Swim trunks all the way. See y'all soon.

Tear In My Heart. Stupid autocorrect. Also Rainbow Kitten Surprise killed it as expected. Loved their set
Looks like a bit of heavy rain in the next couple of hours and then probably just on and off again unless the rain fires again along that frontal boundary. Iffy for sure early though.
There was lightning throughout MaJor Lazer. I'm surprised they didn't cut it earlier.
If ever there was an act that should have short-circuited... I mean they are barely on the high school level anymore. I really fucking hate them, so that's come full circle in about 2-3 years. Absolute bloated carcass of Aerosmith level EDM.

Oh man! You should have stopped me!
I wasn't sure it was you and I didn't want to yell Sarah if it wasn't. I embarrass easy lol. Were you at that set and did you leave a little early?
Major lazer saved the festival yesterday. Bless you.
I enjoyef Mutemath, Band of Horses, The Head and the Heart, and Mondo Cozmo more than Sigor Ros and Phoenix. Weezer best of show so far. Jimmy Lumpkin a close second.
Some sixteen year old got hammered in the VIP security line right in front of me. Looked like syringes or something in medic packaging. Slammed him and cuffed him. Stupid kid actually shouted back at officer. Hello Baldwin County jail. Sherriff Deputy asked me if I was with him. "Hell no". You can go. His girlfriend should have kept walking. Now she going away with him.

LOL. The festival that Major Lazer saves will be one that I'm pretty far away from. They have literally become the cliche of everything that sucks about EDM. Their average fan is probably 15 or 16. I'm glad you still like them, but after gutting through some of that dismal Coachella set, I don't ever need to see them again as long as I live. How was Jillionaire by himself in the tent, because I still like him solo enough.
