These two quotes have to be right up there with my satanic biker and dueling banjos posts.
@judgementalgenxwook76 "I love beachbob. (not gay) He's the only one of you that gets a pass to shizpost because he's actually funny."
@judgementalgenxwook76 "Where did I say I despise anyone? I'm just pointing out that some of you are dildos and your taste in music is questionable. Also, this was my thread before most of you transplanted your daily shizposts here a couple years ago. So I feel like you're pissing on my rug, dude.

You are wise in the ways of psychology Bob. I am a 36 year old sober virgin posting from my parent's basement. The music at the Hangout festival is far too heavy for my tastes. I just want some Doobies on the beach. Maybe some Bob Seger. And some Tedeschi jams. Is that too much to ask for?
If you are into twinkies, then ding dong among us. Note to self, stay away from passwords including the words "in", "us" or "an". I am never confused with a 60 year old rarely sober and too single classic rocker.

Any Hangout news whatsoever would be appreciated. I'll be staying on the east side next year. Anybody stay east and west sides with words of experience? Good places to eat or drink outside festival? Anybody stay at San Carlos? Anybody eat or drink at Sea n Suds?

God knows the old choot is about twenty years over the hill but I just wanna check him off the list.
Definitely. He is one of the greatest song writers ever. Once you get adjusted to the way his voice sounds now, you will either find it interesting in how it makes the show even more unique or it will annoy you because of the difficulty trying to understand how he changed the lyrics up. Either way it will be a great show because his band is f'n incredible.

If you booked San Carlos, you've made a definite step up in quality though the pool is not as good as IWE. Sea n Suds is fine if you like fried seafood. Good patio obviously. (There's also a little shop behind it that has beer, sunscreen etc.) The Best Western does a great breakfast...we usually hit Gulf Island Grill 2 or 3 times...the Pink Pony's not bad, Waffle in da House!...oh, and Hooters for your higher end American cuisine.
I will definitely miss the short walk to Bahama Bobs and guitar with sparkysarah and krisplettuce at the IWE pool. We will need to find a bar halfway between east and west. How appropriate for Inforoo regulars and not so regulars...a halfway house. It is a long time til 19 May, 2017. 278 according to Google. When is the next important date like tickets go on sale or lineup released.
I'm contemplating going to the Mobile festival in October. I have an option on a house in Orange Beach. Shouldn't be too far of a drive. Are you going chickinchickasaw?

Bob, San Carlos is a nice spot, and I think you"ll find the lines to get in are a little easier to manage on the east side, at least in my experience. Gulf Island Grille is decent, Sea and Suds is a mainstay, and it's easy to sneak through the state park to Walmart if you run short on supplies. Solid and I are in Regatta, which is a couple of doors west. I make breakfast for everyone that shows up every day, drop by with a bloody mary and join us anytime.
I have this strong urge to book Ocean Reef 501 again and it's driving me crazy. Sure the deposit's refundable but still... Just when I think I'm out...
0% unless the lineup is drastically improved for my tastes
0% Okeechobee to see an average lineup. I liked a lot of the acts they had last year, but I've seen most all of the acts I would have gone to except Plant & Ween. A 12 hour drive to camp in SE FL for an average line-up isn't going to happen regardless of how cool it is. It has to offer me something musically I'm not otherwise getting. I'll give it another look when the lineup comes out.
I am still waiting for JUICY JAY to pull strings to find out if Waka is coming back. Otherwise it will be Euphoria, Bonnaroo or something else I can get to within 8 or 9 hours.

I will be hitting Friday night and Sunday night of the 1065 fest Bob. That drive will be 45 minutes to an hour from OB and that is if there are no accidents in the tunnel or on the Bayway. By the way, if you have not heard Los Colognes you need to check them out. Reminds me of Dire Straits.
esteban Not much Waka news other than their working on coming back but more geared towards EDM
I'm hesitant on Euphoria. There was a lot I liked this year that I don't see repeating to bring me back. I doubt STS9 does a 3rd year in a row. Maybe if they pull Disclosure, Umph and Lotus, Papadosio and a few other jammy under cards. Camping is more so out of the question living so close.
thebrewdude yes, Los Colognes was very good at Hangout and would like to see them again. I have an activity in town Sept 29-Oct 1st so I may not be able to get to 1065. I would like to see The Struts since I missed them this year at Hangout and Wet Willie. I have seen Moon Taxi several times so not really worth the drive.
