although it feels like the trend of last years lineup will continue, that website doesnt know anything and is just using the description based on last years card.
I think last year there weren't any early birds. They dropped the lineup and the tickets at that time were the cheapest they were all year. Also, not that I'd be expecting them, the Coldplay dates overseas that were just released has me wondering if Hangout locked them up. They're hitting some shows in the beginning of June and every year we seem to have a headliner that hits Hangout in May and no other fests and then heads overseas. Hopefully we'll know in a month or so.

Bastille looks pretty likely with them having a gap for Coachella and Goldenvoice loving to book artists for the Firefly,Hangout,Coachella trio. One week before Hangout they're in the south east with no more dates and none in Alabama.... Meh

Yeah you can probably lock them up. That's fine though. Don't commad a very high spot on the lineup poster, they'll draw a nice crowd away from something else I'd want to see.

They're playing arenas and amphitheaters this tour. They'd at least be on the second line.
Absolutely no surprise that Hangout would book this pile of shit.

Looking at the poster from last year I'd bet they're on the third line. I feel they fit in much more with artists like Cage the Elephant, Haim and Panic at the Disco rather then our 2nd line of Alabama Shakes (in Alabama) Lenny Kravitz, Ellie Goulding & Flume. But still it's a waste of a third line spot..
Could see a lot of the undercard from 2014 returning, which was by far the best year if you ask me. I think Bastille, Capital Cities, and Avett Brothers are all good possibilities. My guess for headliners is something along the lines of Arcade Fire, Drake/ Kendrick Lamar, and Mumford with shitty Calvin Harris possibly returning. I'd be OK with him coming back but only if he's in the Skrillex spot at Surf Stage
As far as headlining rappers jcole is out, said at meadows it would be his last show for a "very long time". Leaves Kendrick, chance(probably second line), kanye, Drake, and gambino (but he's not really rapping anymore) as possible headliners. Unless they get Macklemore in which case you know the lineup will be trash

They don't have any US dates currently. They could be a Hangout exclusive. But post 2008 Coldplay is hot trash. Their setlists these days are light on the classics and heavy on this new crap.

Rumor has it that Chance is headlining Okeechobee. I'd imagine the same would apply if Hangout booked him.
Bastille was 24th at Lolla this year right behind Grimes who I believe was 11 ehre lsat year. I think they would more likely be on the 3rd line then the 2nd.

Which would be interesting considering that he canceled his visit to hangout in 2014, which was very disappointing.
Okeechobee may be getting KoL as a headliner as well, according to reddit. With a new album on the way they're a good possibility to repeat at Hangout too. Not that I'm excited about that.
wasnt a good luck in 15 either, although happy Foo was there and it made sense since they played when the fest was much smaller. They have always have like 5+ repeats it seems which is fine in the middle and lower part of the card but there are more acts then ever available to play. Even though im not going i would hate to see 5 repeat acts on those first 3 lines, thats just lazy.
We didn't share much at all with Okeechobee last year so I would think if Kings and Chance are there, we probably wouldn't get them at Hangout. Things could obviously change since we only have one year for comparison. As for Bastille they'd probably be 3rd line and be a Surf stage sub. Meh whatevs. Surf runs against AXS.TV stage and the Restaurant Stage which would be fine. AXS.TV stage seems to get mostly rock acts.

That was before their new album dropped, and now they're even bigger. "Good Grief" is charting really well. The album went to Top 5. At fests like Okeechobee, Firefly, Hangout....they'll be second line for sure.
Keep in mind, Hangout has been marketting itself as the festival that brings the most "in" artists. The Weeknd had a blow up late 15, 16. Same w Flo n Calvin was being heraled as "most paid DJ," along w an Undercards w grammy wins/noms like the A Shakes.
