Now if we get the Killers and M83 or Of Monsters and Men, I'd be more than happy with the crossover. Even just the Killers ???? (doubt it) Bunbury Twitter said a couple days ago that we have about a month until lineup release. I'd guess we should have it by Valentine's Day, but then again I don't know anything
I hope they really bring it this year or I may actually not make it to any fests this year. (Well, aside from Abbey Road on the River anyhow.) Some upcoming bookings they have at their Columbus venues include Animal Collective, Santigold, Bloc Party, Slayer & Alice Cooper. There are plenty of others but these are some standouts for me that I wouldn't mind seeing crossover. The Wailers, Kendrick Lamar, Modest Mouse, Father John Misty, Dinosaur Jr, Weezer, Jane's Addiction, Belle & Sebastian, Violent Femmes, Tame Impala, The Replacements are among the list of artists that played for them at the LC Pavilion in 2015. Beach House, Echo & the Bunnymen, They Might Be Giants, TV on the Radio, and Tyler the Creator all had shows at Newport Music Hall. Father John Misty and Tame Impala both played Bunbury last year so sadly wouldn't expect them back already but many of the artists on last years line up did play shows in Columbus for them as well so several of the names listed above could be in play.
I'm curious about their new fest in Columbus too...I'm guessing they want people to go to both so they won't be cross booking anyone.
I'm interested as well. Can't make it to bunbury this year so I'm hoping there is as least some crossover because I really liked last years lineup.
I bet PromoWestFest will draw a fair bit from 2015 Bunbury's lineup. Ohio bands like Walk the Moon, 21 Pilots, and Black Keys will have huge local draw and would be good ways of kickstarting a new fest.

have a bad feeling florence are going to be #1 at this, she has a north OH date the saturday of Bunbury, so she could very easily play the Fri or Sun of this. Just gotta hope she isn't #1.

If she plays she's #1 easily. I think last year is giving people unrealistic expections about this festival. I hope they invest more in the undercard this year because getting acts like The Black Keys or Florence to headline a festival that has a tight capacity cap of 20,000 means you have local rappers that can't fill up a bar playing a main stage and Matt and Kim playing completely unopposed in the middle of the day.

OMAM are going to be in Cincy with Slipknot and Marilyn Manson during their tour this summer. I'd consider them out unless the other two are on the bil las well.

Sorry to be that guy, but did they release a lineup release date yet? I know Osheaga and Beale in Memphis are two city fests releasing this week tues/weds
