Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
After last year's performance at Roo, I'm REALLY PUMPED about seeing Tears for Fears again.
That's the name that really hurts on here. As much as my love my friend, she "can't" see shows alone and her #1 show from last year was Ben Folds. So I left Tears for Fears after like 15ish minutes to see Ben Folds with her so she wouldn't miss him. Which means I left one of my most anticipated shows to go watch a drunken Ben Folds fumble through his set.
It's honestly my biggest Roo regret to date. And now I don't live in Ohio anymore to remedy it.
Both Flo and the Killers can't be Saturday, so I'm goin' out on a limb and calling Mudcrutch on Saturday. Which would work out perfectly for me schedule-wise. Fingers crossed!!
Did they finally sway you away from Forecastle to your home festival, you traitor?
Nah. Probably going to bail on both Forecastle, Bunbury, and Bonnaroo this year for budgetary reasons and other travel commitments.
I just can't stand the venue Bunbury uses (can't fault them, play the hand you're dealt) and the scheduling is always wonky.
Yeah, I'm hoping they have a much better setup this year. Though I'm not sure how they can, there's only so much park. It's just too damn narrow. Since I go solo, I splurged for VIP this year so I and just chill in the tent with Nick Lachey and just walk up to front row when the band comes on. I saw too much of nothing last year.
Florence on Sunday is perfect. Would I be correct in assuming getting to the fest grounds from across the river in Covington will be a breeze?
I did one day of Bunbury, year before last, to catch The Flaming Lips... Walked to & from the fest to my hotel in Newport... Getting to Covington would prolly take a short drive/taxi ride, tho

I park in the Newport on the Levee parking garage and walk over the river on the Purple People Bridge. But there is the TANK downtown shuttle too if you are at a Covington hotel.

Yeah. And the Reds are in town that weekend against the Nationals, so parking over in the Cov might be wise (even if the Reds aren't going to be setting any attendance records this year).

Can't wait to see how empty Great American is all year. I'm ready for the rebuild.

With the overlap between Bunbury and Wayhome/Firefly looks like I'll have to figure out how to sell my Bunbury tickets, dang, was hoping for something a little different! Good lineup tho!
Gotta get my Mudcrutch fix SOMEWHERE this summer and with their full tour dates now released, looks like Cinci might be the easiest journey for me.
SO -- I read a bunch of posts from last year about how the Friday was a complete fucking disaster, but then it seemed to get better throughout the weekend. Can anyone who went all three days confirm that the organizers figured out their shit by the end of the weekend? Don't want to waste my time if these folks still don't know what they're doing!

All the issues were related to the crowd size since they probably doubled the ticket sales last year compared to the first 3 years. They already said they will have more entrances and more water stations which should help the long lines. It's not a badly run festival, but packing 20,000 people into the venue creates all sorts of issues. I expect the day Mudcrutch headlines to be the least crowded and most enjoyable.

So it looks like it'll probably be The Killers on Friday, Mudcrutch Saturday, and Florence + The Machine Sunday. Big Grams, Oddisse and Cal Scruby are all confirmed for Saturday, so it's fair to assume they'll have all the rap acts on the same day like last year.
nebulissprime Looks likely that you'll get Mudcrutch, Ice Cube, Umphrey's, and Big Grams all playing Saturday!
That Saturday lineup looks like it was sculpted by the festival gods solely to please me! Crossing my fingers it turns out like that! Mudcrutch and Big Grams are good enough on their own, but Ice Cube would just be unreal. Any reason to believe Ice Cube on Saturday other than the fact that they had all the rap acts on one day last year?

Yeah, I guess yer right... I had noticed on Mudcrutch's list of tour dates that they're playing on Sunday @ Summer Camp, that one is definitely not a placeholder, hence my confusion
