Just got this from Run The Jewels
The Sound Table in Atlanta. We're celebrating our opening night Atlanta Hawks halftime performance! We'll be unveiling our latest Stay Gold IPA collaboration with Athens, GA brewery, Creature Comforts, and DJ Trackstar will be on the wheels of steel. We'll also have something cool going down at Mike's barber shop, The SWAG Shop, right down the street. See you there!
In case you missed it, they're playing halftime of the Hawks home opener on Oct. 27th. So... sounds like a pretty awesome weekend.
I have been to one here in Nashville. What you need to know?
Just wondering if it’s a cool experience. Seems like it would be very intimate.
It is very intimate and cool. Not a bad seat in the house. Good food, but a bit pricey. Wine is not bad either. I would definitely do it again. Only problem is, I don't know or care for the majority of the acts they have. I mean, who the hell is Kurt Elling and why are tickets $65 to see him?

That's the thing. Tickets look expensive to every show. There are about 10 shows I'd like to see lined up in ATL, but not a one I'd pay $60 for. I need to figure out a way to get on their street team (which may not exist) or make a friend on the staff. Any of you got any connections there? wink wink

I can't remember there ever being a show there that I wanted to see. Who are you interested in?

Haha There have been a few I've been more interested in in the past. Leftover Salmon, Indigo Girls, Art Garfunkel, and Don McLean right now.
I actually flubbed up and didn't get tickets in time If you or anybody you know are selling 3 tickets to WSMFP at the Fox on either Dec 29 or 30, I will be forever grateful. Also, can't wait to visit your beautiful city!!!
ATL is one of my favorite places to visit! Moon Taxi is doing a 2 night run on NYE at the Tabernacle... Anyone else going?
I was considering it, but decided to go to NOLA to see The Revivalists instead. Saw Moon Taxi 7 times in the past 14 months and they're always outstanding and only getting better. The new tunes they played at the NYC show last month were a bit heavier than a lot of their recent stuff. ATL should get a good taste of their new album. Enjoy!

Yesss that's awesome! I am completely hooked... NYE will be the 7th & 8th time I've seen them in 2017. They are a helluva show, and a band I can truly follow as much as I can afford to haha
Other artists in the days leading up include Charlie Puth, Jason Derulo, The Chainsmokers and Darius Rucker. I might go to The Chainsmokers since I’m a mile away from Centennial.

Does anyone know if it’ll be a full set or just a few songs for halftime? It says it will be intergrated into halftime but I’m not sure what that means.

I might consider going to the Chainsmokers too. As much as I like to shit on them I'd give them a chance if it's free.

AJC says it's a nine minute long show lol. I'm going to the Chainsmokers tonight for shits and giggles but avoiding downtown at all costs tomorrow.
