Does anyone know the seat configuration at Terminal West when they offer both seated and standing tickets?
Never seen any seats in there?...maybe barstools at the high tops in the back? What show?
It's for Mountain Man. I would assume they just bring in a ton of folding chairs and put them front and center. I'm just worried about standing room only being relegated to the upper balcony or something.

My guess would be that they wouldn't take up more than the front third with seating...let us know!

Amplify Decatur just added Julien freaking Baker. This is the single-day fest that already had Jeff Tweedy, Mavis Staples, and Kevin Kinney. Seems like the absolute best way you can spend $50 in Atlanta that day (with all due respect to Strand of Oaks).

Oh shit, I was already eying this because of Tweedy but this has me significantly more interested.

OK so following up on the seated Terminal West question... it was pretty great! They had seven rows of folding chairs in a semi-circle in front of the stage then there was plenty of standing room behind those. It was a sold-out show but it was a lot easier to deal with than a general admission sell out. Basically wherever you stood in the back you could easily see the stage. Also the folding chairs seemed to have plenty of space between them.
All around a good experience and I wholeheartedly endorse buying a standing room only ticket to a seated Terminal West show.

Sound has never been an issue for me there. I'd even say it's one of the better ATL venues. The closest thing I've seen to Yaeji there, though, is Bob Moses so you're probably correct.

Agree, I've never had a single issue with Terminal West. Love it.

Anyone going to the following shows? Growlers at Variety (8/3), Sidney Gish at Masq (8/15), PUP at Variety (9/21), Taking Back Sunday at Masq (10/6&7), Titus Andronicus at EARL (11/15), Black Midi at EARL (11/16) or Menzingers/Tigers Jaw at Masq (11/19)?

Noice. I'll see ya'll there. Just snagged Black Midi and Titus Andronicus tix. Pregame at Flatiron! Probably gonna grab a Pup ticket at the Growlers show tomorrow.
