What in bonnaroos past would make you think they won't?
the lack of options for alternate music playing while a headliner is on the stage maybe?
Thought we've been under the assumption for awhile LCD is gonna be in split HL situation like Kendrick/Deadmau5 last year. If it's back to the traditional 3 HL and no split sets then you'd be right

Its honestly not as terrible as people in the other thread made it out to be, but this is certainly not a lineup that'll get me to do the 1,000 mile trek again.
Very glad I was able to go in 2012 and 2013. Feel like those were the last two years that the lineups made my jaw drop.
Tame vs PJ or Tame vs Dead & Co also seem like they would have similar fans.
Im talking about a direct conflict.
I mean whoever is LN will probably start during the last 30 or so minutes of LCD. I don't think headliners have ever completely conflicted with another act before, have they?
Currently my lineups I've been too are 2013 2012 2016 2014 2015
I'm actually bummed they didn't get panic at the disco this year. Would have completed my teen years angst bands. Plus their new single death of a bachelor is great.
AC entertainment's knoxville roots are starting to show. this year's bonnaroo lineup is taking after the Vols. They do enough initially to get your hopes up (PJ, LCD, Dead and Co) and then blow it in spectacular fashion in the end.

I think it's definitely a step-up from last year, but I really have to stop buying pre-sale tickets. I should've learned my lesson last year. Probably going to look into another festival next year.
even in a split headliner situation, the majority of their set would be unopposed
I thought last year Deadmau5 and EWF almost completely overlapped. I know Kendrick and Ben Harper did directly before. It was one of my huge conflicts
maybe i didnt realize because in that 4 hour time span, i only cared about 1 act. I dunno, im sour and bitter. I at least wanted to feel conflicted about missing bonnaroo this year.
I count 35 acts I know and like including headliners, only a handful of which I'm actively excited for. It just looks and feels weak. Not like artists I personally don't like, but just low caliber artists. I'm interested to see the actual poster because the whole thing just feels lacking. And I'm not expecting anything extra really, except for late adds like D'Angelo last year.
So is Macklemore getting late night Which after Pearl Jam (or while they're playing for the third straight hour)? I'm still shocked they didn't get an EDM act to close the Which late night like years past. Unless I'm massively underestimating RL Grime, etc.
I bought Presale... thought I was so golden with the three headliners and that this was going to be 2014 all over again.
I really need your help this year inforoo. Can people start listing out every god act? And I mean every single one. Shouldn't be that difficult right? My research needs to be top notch this year more than any.
Acts I'm interested in initially:
LCD Soundsystem Tame Impala Pearl Jam Dead and CO Death Cab Mavis Staples Fidlar Kamasi Washington Shamir Blood Orange Vince Staples Leon Lettuce Sam Bush Father John Purity Ring Tyler M83 Mguel
I think that Natalie Prass is really going to surprise people

I am usually one to have lower expectations for the lineup, but this is underwhelming. Against all my better judgement, I can't help but feel they are holding something back. With the tweet they sent out this morning and no music websites running with this (yet). Do we know if bonnaroo365 is their official instagram? Can we match all the clues with bands on the leak? Why only one band marked as late-night?

If you haven't listened to any of these by now, Bonnaroo's gonna be such a drag for you this year. First things first though, LCD. They're my one reason to go to the What Stage thank God.
As for the bro trains, maybe it was the sets I want to at roo or where I stood but I saw little of it. One bit of stupidity at Courtney Barnett but other than that it was really tame vs coachella where I have had to be firm, block people or even had words with people. Might have been lucky.
the stupidity at Courtney Barnett was all the Mac Demarcbros, who really need to fuck off and die in an ironic hole someplace

"Acts that Im interested in initially"
I thought that meant you're interested but you have to yet to listen too. In that case you'll probably have a great year with all those artists. Maybe even scheduling conflicts.
I guess since I'm bored I'll also post my "Acts that Im interested in initially" LCD Soundsystem Tame Impala M83 Blood Orange Dead and Co. Kurt Vile Vulfpeck Superjam (obviously, every year) Leon Bridges Mavis Staples Roman Gianarthur Father John Misty Allen Stone Miguel DCFC Tyler, the Creator Grace Potter
I guess this is in order of importance? Or excited to see the most? Idk, you decide.
