It seems like every musician on the planet hates Trump so I'm already preparing myself for some political ranting but idc. I didn't go last year but some of my friends that did said Eddie was real bad with it last year and they're big Pearl Jam fans. Like it got to the point where it was ruining the show for them.
The only thing I remember is about a thirty seconds bit about building a wall around Trump. Pretty tame stuff, really.
Certainly nothing anywhere close to Wayne Coyne level ramblings.

This is the accurate account of what happened.
It did incite some groans from people around me. They also likened him to Kanye since he was "ranting."

Eddie spoke more on Tennessee elected officials and nominees and encouraged getting out to vote to support causes. Can't remember the specifics now, but it wasn't bothersome. I expected it.

Or his ramblings about bush and oil prices in 2008
Animal Kingdom is on the bottom of that list for those stupid cardboard straws too. No one wants to drink a frozen margarita from their tiki cup through a soggy cardboard straw.

I believe it mostly centered around transgender rights because of the "bathroom bill" that was a hot issue at the time. The woman behind me was screaming in support so loud that she lost her voice. Good show.
Does anyone else have a Renaissance Fair around them to go get drunk on honeywine and speak with a British accent at?
NO but I would totally do this. Some people on the other side of the city always perform on Sundays at a park though. So that kind of counts right?
Actually around here the whole "Escape Room" thing is pretty popular and a bunch of friends and I are going to go get absolutely rocked and do one Saturday night.

We have one every November-December...well on the Northshore. I think about going every year, but that is like the busiest season here. So I have never made it.
Oh and Busch Gardens is the shit. You used to get free beer, but they nixed that.

Yeah they changed that when Anheuser Busch was sold to InBev. Fucking Beligians.
At Osheaga last year RHCP had a bigger crowd than Radiohead. Nuff said
I wish there was a way to measure how many people would not have attended the festival if RHCP or Radiohead weren't on the lineup. That would be the ideal statistic.
Crowd size isn't that great of a barometer because, for all we know, RHCP's crowd could have been filled with people who were at the festival regardless for totally other reasons and different bands. They may have been like "eh might as well see RHCP now that I'm here. I know some of their songs and haven't heard of Radiohead."
But what if 75% of Radiohead's crowd would not have attended the fest if it weren't for Radiohead being on the lineup. Maybe because Radiohead has a diehard following that is willing to travel for them.
To be more specific, Radiohead had close to the same crowd at first but by half way through a good portion of the back crowd had left for other shows while I was still squished in the back all the way to the end of RHCP.
I would agree it doesn't say much in terms of comparing the two because both had large swaths of people that came for the entire fest, Radiohead just played less hits in the first half and lots of people "got their fill" and went to see Mac Miller or someone else.
My main reasoning was that RHCP definitely had a big crowd and kept them the whole way through. Them paired with another rock headliner is a good recipe, and that was my point. Now Osheaga also had a fairly deep undercard, and was also a city festival. We shall see how this one turns out for Roo soon enough.
I'm honestly curious because I've completely written roo off after last year, and the headliners aren't gonna get me there this year so if they pull off a undercard like 2015 and prior I'm gonna be in a glass case of emotions.

Every year I go to Scarborough Faire about 45 minutes away from me and drink beer out of a horn. This year I get to take my new born so he can watch how his dad gets down!
FWIW, if you go to the apple app store and try to download the Bonnaroo app it now says "C3 Presents, LLC" right next to Bonnaroo. Not sure who books the lineup, but clearly C3 is taking a major role.
Edit: rookie mistake. I should have caught up on the thread before I posted this previously stated point. Judge me as you must Inforoo.
