Headliners are U2 - RHCP - The Weeknd. 100%. No need to even speculate anything else at this point.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? NO GORILLAZ? THIS IS HORSE SHIT!
On the bright side, it seems they're not playing any fests at all next year so it might just be that they won't have a show ready by then. Still could happen in 2018

I wasn't being serious. I never thought Gorillaz were a real possibility for this year

I thought RHCP were speculated by their tour dates. How is that 100%. Same with the Weekend. Besides inside knowledge of them being there. Any confirmation like in an email for physical prof. Same with U2. Cause that doesn't seem like 100% to me

I know 100% I'm going to wake up at 7 am on the farm next year due to heat and humidity but I don't have the forecast to prove it to you.
I have a theory that when a band repeats as a headliner, their second shows are usually received more poorly. Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam. Phish, Phil Lesh, WSP and Tom Petty didn't seem to be any better received when they returned, either.
My point here is that the Chili Peppers received a pretty "meh" reception the first time around. I'm not sure that anyone should set their hopes up too high for their return performance, even if they're a bucket list band for you.
I have a theory. RHCP suck and have sucked for a very long time.

Besides inside information, do you have any proof or emails or whatever proving this?

The only concrete proof you'll get is when the lineup drops in February. So either trust the info here or go back to a Reddit. Also, learn how to use question marks and spell The "Weeknd."

You sure about that? They have a show in Poland on July 25th. Besides, they're already spending the first 6 months of the year in North America. I think it makes much more sense for them to stay overseas the rest of the summer.

Ok, maybe I shouldn't have said 100%...
However, Toronto is noticeably absent from their tour.
For those non-Canadians, yes Hamilton is close, but people from Toronto don't travel to Hamilton for shows. Hamilton is gross*
*except for the expected instant Canadian reply: "not me! I live 'on' the mountain"

They have a show at the Air Canada Centre in February.
