As a resident Bon Iver / Justin Vernon expert, Bon Iver is a headliner, end of story. Any other billing for them at Bonnaroo will not happen.
PS: Don't count on Bon Iver being on the lineup in 2017...
Boy, if you thought the LCD crowd was small...
Any headliner would have shitty attendance when you only sell 46K tickets(cough cough, Pearl Jam and Dead & Company also had shitty attendance)...trying to compare LCD with Bon Iver for attendance is a stupid and pointless argument.
Bon Iver was #5 in 2012 and have since released another critically acclaimed album. They have also massively increased the production value for their live shows. If they were booked, 2-3 would be appropriate.

Pearl Jam's attendance seemed pretty normal to me, and the only thing weird about Dead & Company was that the pit line only had like 5 people in it for the first four hours of the What Field being open.

I'm fairly confident the pit never filled for Dead and Co given my run in with the coked out Jersey guys.
So it's looking like Coachella and Lolla will have some great headliners. Would be a shame if the best Roo can do is some combination of Clapton/ RHCP and KOL

R.E.M. - Gorillaz - Vampire Weekend - Bon Iver - The xx - Chance The Rapper - Queens Of The Stoneage - Eric Prydz - James Blake - Iggy Pop
would you guys rather get Drake or The Weeknd? I think I'd go with The Weeknd
I'm a huge fan of The Weeknd so I'd prefer him
but objectively, having seen both, The Weeknd plays his whole show with a full band and Drake just raps over a track for a lot of his stuff. A band wins over a backing track any day of the week imo
I'd significantly prefer Drake. I've seen him live before and it's not bad, and I'm really just not familiar with any of The Weeknd's solo stuff. I heard the I Can't Feel My Face song a time or two and I've heard him sing some choruses on other people's stuff, but personally I'm surprised he even got to headliner status considering how unfamiliar I am with him.
for what it's worth The Weeknd still plays a good chunk from his first album, House of Balloons, which is an excellent dark R&B album that (along with Frank Ocean) jump started the whole indie R&B scene that's been big recently. I'd highly recommend checking it out if you're not familiar

I live under a rock. What are Coach/Lolla looking like? I saw CoS rumoring that Radiohead at Coachella is possible.

Could Tim McGraw/Faith Hill be a HL option? Didn't see if it was brought up but I saw they're touring next year and are open on the 8th and 11th (and Iowa on the 10th - Roo on the 11th - Michigan on the 15th) wouldn't be out of the way for a tour route.
Don't have any desire to see either of them but thought it was interesting.

CMA fest is usually the same weekend as Roo
Ahhhh thanks. Totally forgot about that (not a country fan so don't ever notice the lack of country on the lineups)
