There's a Potbelly across the street from my office, inforoo has determined what I'm having for lunch
I actually just had it for the first time on New Year's Day when I was up in Chicago. I don't have any within 3 hours of where I live though
There is this place here in NOLA called Killer Po'boys that makes this potbelly poboy that is to die for. I know I just ate lunch but I am still hungry and all this food talk is not helping.
My first and only entry into Yet Another Stupid Inforoo Debate About Sandwiches is that Publix is one of those things that Southerners inexplicably think is magic but is actually trash, just like sweet tea and the SEC.
Publix is magic because it's run by competent people who understand quality products, service and well-compensated employees is not some liberal myth but a successful business strategy. That seems like magic in the South.

agreed on the sweet tea and SEC, but Publix is decidedly NOT trash. We have Winn-dixie to represent the trash down here.

I was so excited when Publix came to our town a few years back, but since Whole Foods got here I pretty much don't shop anywhere else. Can't recall if I ever had a Pub Sub.
