Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I think Jazzfest's lineup will dominate the southeastern festivals this year, since Jazzfest is naturally resistant to the disease of festival sameness.
come on down to the gospel tent y'all, we'll fuck up with trout baquet and strawberry cheesecake. if you've never been i promise it will blow your mind.
Yeah but that's not really comparable, since it's a week long compared to Roo's 4 days, or other fests 3 days. Jazz Fest will always be a better option for the most part.
Right on. C3 has absolutely nothing to do with Bonnaroo, other than sharing a parent company. AC/Superfly still exist, still run Bonnaroo, they are just under a larger umbrella with more resources.
Now wait a minute. I posted yesterday that LN was just the budget for Roo, and someone spazzed out and said "C3 owns Roo now, Superfly/AC doesn't book for Roo anymore." From now on I'm just trusting Launchy. Geezus.

True, the names always look better together on the full lineup, but spread out over 7 days it's less impressive, and relatively more expensive.
But it is a unique music festival experience, one that still manages to feel authentic and vital in a market otherwise crowded with bland.

Ah, you know what I misunderstood C3 actually are booking the lineup now. Superfly/AC/C3 are running it. Apologize for the confusion, but I was confused.
That also makes me think that maybe Shaky Knees/Roo are open to a lot more crossover.
The only one off that Shaky Knees lineup I really wanted was The XX because I loved their set on the farm last time. Other than that, its just kinda meh for me. Heres to hoping Roo pulls off some surprises tomorrow!

I'm excited. Shaky Knees was the only thing I was worried about and it's just alright overall. Plus maybe some crossover now? Even if not though I won't be too heartbroken. There's a lot of good acts Roo could have gotten that Shaky did not.

I am very optimistic and excited. I think some around here will hate, but it wont be nearly as bad as last years lineup, and is sure to get more people there overall.

I'm getting more optimistic too. I'll probably be at the farm

I'm fairly confident in our ability to conclude 24 hours from now that both lineups suck.
