Is future just too be to be an addition at this point?
He's just got a big opening right before Roo and it doesn't seem like tickets are flying. Would make a step in the right direction righting the lack of rap.
just seems like too big of an add. the adds over the past few years haven't been at that midcard/sub HL level. if there was ever a year to add a bigger name this is it, but I don't see it happening.
Yea, we don't tend to get big adds. Best we usually see is somebody in the 15-20 range then a few in the bottom 3rd of the lineup.
when I talk about adds, I'm inly talking about main act additions. We will still get some comedy, cafe, etc...but as for the main lineup, we are basically set. We will be lucky if we get couple extra like late additions, but no one should expect 15+ additions because reality says it's not going to happen
well duh. i dont think anybody is even assuming 10
You don't read the Facebook comments do you? People were like literally expecting a second wave of artists. I think they're just now starting to lose hope.

Future wouldn't help the quality of this lineup at all.

You don't think Future dropping his instant classic "In Her Mouth" during a dangerously crowded Which stage evening set would elevate the overall artistic merit of the weekend?

Put it in a dangerously crowded Other Tent and we got a deal

I don't think he would be that big of an add, compared to things like D'Angelo and Kacey Musgraves last year. He typically plays theaters and halls, not arenas and ampitheaters.
Would be a great add, he's a really good live rapper, and honestly when the lineup dropped I was surprised he wasn't on there
EDIT: D'Angelo was 13th on the lineup last year which would be a reasonable position for Future to be this year imo

I don't, but LCD Soundsystem playing "Drunk Girls" during a sparsely attended What stage headlining set definitely would.
i've always been pretty indifferent about future. he has some decent bangers and is good party background music but i never really gave him more credit than that. he went on during one of my volunteer shifts at okee and it sounded badass and i was dancing in the staff area behind all the stages. my supervisors saw me point to the stage and say something like "i want to fucking be there" and they told me to go see him so obviously i went.
i gotta say his show was waaaaaaaaaaaay better than i expected. not that i expected him to be bad but it was one of the most fun shows of the weekend. he was a great performer, and everyone was bouncing to the songs.

I do not Facebook because I am a good person
Good answer.
I still like to read their Facebook comments to see what ridiculous things people are saying

And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
