A Tauk early afternoon tent show on Friday and UM LN tent show on Saturday would be amazing.
I had tickets for the tour they played together a few months back. Ended up selling and caught Wilco instead. Tauk is really popular in VA. Playing small festivals in both VA beach and Martinsville in May.

So UM has a big ole bonnaroo sized gap in their summer tour. They are playing on 6/4 in cincy and their next show is 6/16 in Chattanooga. Both of those dates are festival dates. Not sure how the Chattanooga date affects (effects? Idk) playing roo. Hoping my dreams don't get crushed.

Affects is like personal and emotions, effects is status and consequentially, I think. And hopefully it doesn't effect the chance of playing Roo.
It wouldn't be unreasonable, though it is weird that his only tour dates are GV events: Coachella and Panorama
Of hip-hop artists in the realm of possibility I would take Joey if we got some Underacheivers or Flatbush Zombies. They both have donut size holes in their schedules near fests

He's playing Governors Ball not Panorama. But Underachievers and Flatbush Zombies are also way overdue to play Bonnaroo

And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
At least one decent addition would be nice (Grimes...but that's not looking likely at all now). But just give us something to make up for all the unforgivable garbage they booked on the lineup (Chainsmokers, Sam Hunt, Post Malone ect.)

maybe they'll have an "unforgiveable garbage" themed tent this year. Post Malone > Sam Hunt > Chainsmokers would be a hell of a way to celebrate banality and mediocrity in contemporary music.

Well my mock did have Post Malone and Sam Hunt back to back in a tent since they're both Saturday. And Sam Hunt is basically shitty pop country trying incorporate hip hop, and Post Malone's first song he uploaded was a country song. So it could work. Btw I personally wouldn't have a problem with Post Malone (because I have admitted to enjoying his show at Buku) if there were some more decent rappers on the lineup. Like rappers that actually rap over their instrumentals and have more than four songs. Like if we got Joey Badass or somebody like that as an addition I'd be happy.

There's actually a lot I'm really looking forward to this year. The disappointing factor is a lot of the other stuff they booked that makes you go "WHY!? Why would you book this!?" especially when there were clearly some better options they missed out on.

Please no Matt & Kim. I really enjoy their music but they're EVERYWHERE. I think they've played 3 times in my city in the past 18 months and the show has been the exact same every time (same banter, covers, etc). They need to disappear for a little bit and revamp their live show.
