Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'm actually kind of happy that there isn't a whole lot of late night options. Means there won't be as many conflicts. I want to see Tame Impala and Blood Orange on Friday and Miguel, Big Grams, and Superjam Saturday
2014 late night was brutal, I was so worried Friday was gonna end up with everything I wanted to see after midnight. Should make for an awesome day Friday with FIDLAR and Shamir with presumably early afternoon sets, Tyler, Vince Staples, Purity Ring in the evening, M83 and LCD later, then Tame Impala and Blood Orange LN. I'd be satisfied
You did see that Purity Ring is late night, right?
I'm honestly seeing Bob Moses getting the Darkside treatment. They'll be in a tent starting pretty much after everyone else has, and there will be like 50 people there...and it'll be awesome.
Make that 51--I'll stay up for Bob Moses.
52, this is the dance party of the weekend for me. Between Bob Moses and Miguel, how many Roo babies are going to be made on those nights?!
This is just so disappointing. There's no way I'd pay money for a ticket to this year's Bonnaroo
To each their own. I said I wasn't going back after wasting money on VIP last year unless all the old fucks decided to do an old time hippie thing in the future or if there were HL acts I wanted to see (ala 2012). Also I prefer Wakarusa x 10. But alas Pearl Jam is playing, and I've never seen any incarnation of Grateful Dead, friends or relations. So those acts alone may make it worthwhile for me to go. It's gonna be GA as I won't ever do Bonnaroo VIP again unless someone buys me a ticket. The only value was check-in and line privileges.
A lot of people down here are pretty excited about this year and someone asked me while I was typing this reply if I was going and needed a ride. To be sure, there is a kwackload of acts I have zero interest in seeing. But there are probably 30 or so I either want to see or want to see again. So I can make it work especially since I'm 98% ditching Hangout this year, Waka is on hiatus and I will not have my fix of summer rock festivals. I'm going count acts I know that I have more than a 5 out of 10 interest in seeing. I counted 29, most of whom I have seen, and maybe an additional 5-10 I would like to check out that people brag on here on Inforoo.
Oh I didn't say I'm not going; I just meant that if I had to pay for a ticket, I'd likely skip this year. But I'll be there and I'm sure I'll have a grand time ;-)
Bob Moses is playing during Tame Impala (probably)

I hope this is what happens. I will be dancing my ass off!!!
I was at that Darkside set, and loved how there wasn't that many people there.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

I think Bob Moses is the third best add since 2013 after D'Angelo and the Hip-Hop/Wu-Tang Superjam (wasn't announced as an addition). Granted, that's a massive drop off.

Violent Femmes Tour Dates work perfectly for an addition, if Bonnaroo has any interest in adding the Violent Femmes which seems unlikely at this point.

Every damned year I am all "Please give me the Violent Femmes....Please give me the Violent Femmes....", but it never happens

Maybe if you stop being that way it will happen. Think about it
Benjamin Clementine has a 6/8 show in New York, and just announced a 6/13 show in Chicago and a 6/14 show in Minneapolis. Would be nice if he showed up.
Do you know what happened to those Chicago and Minneapolis dates? They've disappeared from his website and the show at the Cedar is gone from their calendar of events as well. I didn't see anything from the Cedar about it getting canceled, the post announcing the show just disappeared.
Didn't see hat butrick I messaged them on Twitter and said they had to take down the listing due to "unforeseen circumstances" and will be reannouncing the show soon. So that's interesting.
Also, I find it really hard to support any festival that booked all of the following: Macklemore, Halsey, Sam Hunt, X Ambassadors, Goldlink, The Chainsmokers, Post Malone and Bryson Tiller.
Never heard of Bryson, but this dude is just a D-grade Weeknd.

It's amazing how many rappers (including GoldLink) I've seen throw Smells Like Teen Spirit into their shows. Not saying that's dad rock, but just an observation
It's amazing how many DJs I see drop that in a set. Completely ruins the flow of the set.
you've clearly never seen Questlove DJ
which, what the fuck Bonnaroo, why hasn't that happened in the Silent Disco

Me too Porch Radio... At least they answered with Pearl Jam twice

I just realized that Bryson Tiller is listed 18th on the lineup. If you had been holding out hopes for some kind of other addition I'd stop now. He is the large addition.

Don't think GoldLink fits in this list.
Saw him live in October and it was easily one of the cheesiest, worst rap sets I've ever seen in my life. The guy spent around 6-9 minutes playing a track of songs along the lines of Smells Like Teen Spirit and just dancing around stage to "pump the crowd up". It was awful. I didn't mind his recorded material when I listened to him before the festival, but I hated having to wait through that set.

Why ever bother booking Drake or The Weeknd when you can get a second rate act like this on the cheap and throw him eight lines too high on the lineup?

On the flip side, I'm liking the fact that Bob Moses is lower. It has absolutely nothing to do with how they'll schedule the late nights, but in my mind of compromise I'm taking it to mean they have a better chance of being the 2:30am start time.

Are they retarded? Personally I think he should be placed no higher than Danny Brown in 2014.
I dunno, my roommate who's going who is excited for shit like Sam Hunt and Macklemore didn't know him by name, but when he heard a couple of songs from him he immediately recognized them
Dude has a couple of top 40 hits right now which is def more than Danny Brown can say

He has two songs that received heavy radio play but other than that he doesn't have much to carry him on. Tiller is more similar to Dej Loaf who last year who opened a tent on Thursday. He does not deserve that billing or a late night slot but I guess that's one less schedule conflict that night.
