so do ya'll think is this it besides some super jam stuff, or maybe some other mid-tier acts.
yep. schedule should be out in the next few weeks. Last year the Superjam announcement was end of May, because presumably they just threw some crap together at the last minute. Hoping its released earlier this year but end of May is our current precedent.

I've ran through a couple songs from each Saturday café add. I'm desperately searching for options in case we are faced with a 4-5 hour midday stretch of garbage (very plausible).
A few bands that I think I'll give a shot based off of limited listening:
Amasa Hines: really enjoy the AudioTree videos. This kinda feels like Banjamin Booker or Con Brio in the sense that I can tell I'd have a great time live, but prob won't seek it out while at home. With what we are dealing with on Sat, this is wonderful.
Promised Land Sound: This is actually interesting. For fans of Kurt Vile and Steve Gunn (the latter appears on their debut album)
Others I found at least moderately interesting from Saturday and may try to dig into:
Isaac Gracie, Lawrence, The Record Company, Margaret Glaspy
Any of you guys familiar with these particular bands?

I listened to a track from each club addition slapped a genre on them based on that limited listening:
amanda shires - country/folk amasa hines - rock band? andrew combs - country arkells - power pop/rock (feels like a Jack Antonoff project) aubrie sellers - country rock austin plaine - folk cardiknox - pop dΔwn - alt-pop/dance dylan leblanc - singer/songwriter/indie folky finish ticket - hard rock firekid - pop flux capacitor - jamband grace mitchell - pop grandma sparrow - captain beefheart henry wagons - country whiskey carnival (tom waits/nick cave) holy white hounds - rock isaac gracie - gritty singer/songwriter joe hertler & the rainbow seekers - pop. full band. r&b feel to the vocals. korey dane - rock? lael naele - slow female singer/songwriter with slight country feel lawrence - upbeat r&b pop/horns (uptown funk) luke bell - country, old school feel mail the horse - alt country maren morris - country margaret glaspy - rock/pop mothers - indie rock polly a. - r&b/trap powers - pop promised land sound - indie public access t.v. - rock/pop (phoenix) roar - indie (pet sounds) sir the baptist - r&b (kind of like a macklemore chorus) stokeswood - synthpop sun club - indie surf rock shouty sunflower bean - indie (pretty much sounds like their name would lead you to expect) swim deep - pop the record company - rock/bluesy walden - pop/rock whitney - folksy
39 additions
bolded the ones I liked on first listen
Broadly categorizing these additions:
8 - Country 5 - Folk 4 - Indie (which means poorly mixed/recorded vocals and instruments) 1 - jamband (flux capacitor, not really an addition) 10 - pop 2 - r&b 9 - rock
Promised Land Sound: This is actually interesting. For fans of Kurt Vile and Steve Gunn (the latter appears on their debut album)
This is great, thanks for sharing! I really hope Bonnaroo doesn't screw things up and have this set conflict with Steve Gunn's. Hell it seems like the obvious course of action would be to give them the chance to play with each other, but I assumed the same thing would happen with Damon Albarn and Bobby Womack so I'll keep my expectations low this time.
Promised Land Sound is soooo goddamn good live. For fans of the Band and Grateful Dead, they are not to be missed. Great songs, amazing four-part harmonies and GROOVES GALORE.
They can really, really, REALLY jam. Saw 'em a few months ago and mid-song, one of the guitar players breaks a string. He realizes that his strings are not in his case but rather IN HIS VAN so he runs outside, grabs the strings, changes 'em, and meanwhile the band have been jammin' the fuck out without missing a beat. Needless to say the climax of that groove when the second guitar player was finally ready to go was cathartic.

I'm looking forward to seeing them at Levitation in a few weeks.
Amanda shires Amasa Hines Dylan Leblanc Finish ticket Firekid Grace Mitchell Isaac Gracie Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers Korey Dane Lael Neale Lawrence Luke Bell Margaret Glaspy
And CHARLES BRADLEY! (I am in love with his new album)
Charles Bradley is about the most fitting replacement for Mavis. Would have preferred her because I'm seeing CB at Boston Calling, but I'll happily see him again if scheduling works out.
Also for some reason Roar, Stokeswood, and Walden aren't on the By Day lineup yet
