I've been thinking about a situation like this for Saturday:
WHAT: Grace Potter (3:15-4:30) > Chris Stapleton (5:30-6:45) > Macklemore (7:45-9:00) > Pearl Jam (10:00-12:30) WHICH: Nathaniel Rateliff (4:30-5:45) > Two Door Cinema Club (6:30-7:45) > Haim (8:30-10:00) LN Ellie Goulding (12:00-1:30) THIS: Sam Hunt (5:30-6:45) > Band of Horses (7:30-9:00) LN Lamb of God (12:30-2:00) > RL Grime (2:30-4:00) THAT: Clutch (6:00-7:15) > The Claypool Lennon Delirium (8:00-9:30) LN Miguel (12:30-1:45) > Big Grams (2:15-3:30) OTHER: Post Malone (5:00-6:00) > The Knocks (6:45-7:45) > Adventure Club (8:30-10:00) LN Superjam (1:00-3:00)
Basically I can't figure out who the LN Which show would be if it's not the Superjam (or maybe Adventure Club, I didn't think they were that big though) but then I thought about Ellie Goulding taking that slot and kind of played around with the schedule based on that.

Could easily be Mack
That looks pretty reasonable, although I don't know that Nathaniel Ratliff has enough material for an hour and 15 minute set.
pretty good for me. your Thursday in particular is great.
the whole ellie goulding/macklemore placement is a difficult one. I would think without a doubt Ellie is before Pearl Jam on What, but Macklemore closing Which doesn't seem right, and him before Ellie on What doesn't seem right. Putting him LN Which is an interesting decision. Again doesn't feel right but seems like nothing does in this situation.
still really think they should put Tame on What after LCD. would make a lot of folks happy. hard to gauge popularity, is it possible Tame has a bigger draw than deadmau5 at this point?

Yeah Macklemore doesn't really seem to fit anywhere really well. I put him on LN Which because that seems to be the best fit and there doesn't seem to be anyone else that fits that time slot particularly well. I could see Ellie getting that LN spot too but I went with Macklemore instead since Bonnaroo has given rappers LN Which spots before (Lil Wayne, Ice Cube).
Decided that the only way I'm 100% in for this year would be if the final schedule includes LCD into Tame Impala on What, LC Delirium as a late night act with no PJ overlap, and Death Cab into Dead on What. What are my chances?
Going to be amazing seeing all of your reactions when M83, Tame Impala and Kamasi Washington all overlap Friday late night.
I'll be wearing a smile at Tame Impala if that happens. Mainly because I'll get to see M83 indoors a few days before 'roo in Columbus! I have a feeling the Tame Impala LN could rival the FLips LN in 2007!

I'm working on a "worst case scenario" mock. Since Friday is the worst day for potential conflicts I've only completed that so far. Tell me what y'all think:

What makes Friday a little easier for me is Kamasi, Shamir, and Blood Orange will all be at Pitchfork Fest a month later, where the likelihood of conflicts is much, much less. I also just saw Vince Staples recently and don't really need to see him again. And Dungen will be playing my city in May
That still leaves LCD, Tame Impala, M83, Chvrches, Purity Ring, and Tyler as must-sees for potential conflicts though

What: Band of Horses>Mack>Ellie>PJ Which: ..>...> Claypool> Haim> Big Grams (LN) It's 2016, everytings fucked, bands have to bigger spots than traditionally.
Mack was on the What in '13 at 3pm, it was crazy full. Not a chance he's on the Which
I agree but Macklemore is the hardest act on Saturday to schedule. I guess it will be him and Ellie in some order on What before Pearl Jam, maybe with Haim closing Which? Just seems like both Ellie and Macklemore should be in that pre-HL What slot.
regardless this is a worst schedule ever schedule. I wanted there to be a period of time where Macklemore was the only musical option, and I wanted him at a stage that would be a complete clusterfuck of a crowd.
i could see them scheduling Ellie and Macklemore on What/Which back2back like they did with Vampy Weeks and Phoenix in 2014. VW was billed 5, Phoenix 7. Ellie is billed 5, Mackles is 6.

back to back like they on the cover of lethal weapon back to back like when VW was 5 and Phoenix was 7 woah
