Thanks for taking the time to do this. I still think that Sat is too stacked IMO. It leaves almost nothing for Sunday. Sunday the past few years have had Avett Bros, Twenty One Pilots, Macklemore, The National, Florence, Artic Monkeys, etc. Your mock has Death Cab and Ween (Which is a nostalgia/niche group IMO) I feel there should be one more or 2 more mainstream groups for Sunday

Ok I switched Leon Bridges with Two Door Cinema Club and an ARTIST ADDITION for HAIM

Here several things in the schedule that I'd point out as very unlikely BUT, this schedule would work out amazing for me if I went.
One thing I'd like to point out is that Tame and M83 are playing different days at Firefly. So, it's not impossible that they would do the same thing at Roo.

I would love for that to be true but according to the schedule confirmation page, Tame and M83 are both on Friday. So I kinda just made a mock to visualize a schedule that I most likely won't get haha

Tyler and J.Cole at the same time? Also CHVRCHES and Tame Impala? What the heck man
Don't be ridiculous man. Tame has to conflict with someone. CHVCHES is so far down on the list of upsetting scenarios. As long as it isn't LCD or M83, Roo has done us a favor.
That Saturday is absolutely dreadful. Aside from the Knocks, there's nothing I would want to see until 7, and then only five acts for the rest of the night.

Someone on the confirmation thread is saying that Pearl Jam is playing Sun in Europe, making them seem way more likely than Friday. So now J. Cole>Pearl Jam is a possibility, and Tame LN What is opened up. Curious how Saturday would play out now with LCD, Halsey, and Ellie.
Love the Thursday This tent. Really hoping there's one tent I can park at all day and night with the Thursday shitshow of people.
Might have to spend all day Sunday at This tent as well with Ween and the Dead added on.
This would be great overall for me. Very few conflicts of note
Lettuce is one of the best jam bands on the lineup, would be crazy for them to play on a thurs. And Chvrches were in the Other in 2014, they're Which or higher tent this time. Macklemore will be on Which or what, as much as it pains me to say that....he's got a huge following.

Ellie pretty much has to play What before the headliner right? No way they put her on Which. I think she's technically the most popular act on the entire lineup.

I'm thinking
Friday
What
J. Cole 7:30-9:00>Pearl Jam 10:00-1:00
Which Chvrches 7:45-9:00
Tame
What LN 2:00-3:30
Which
Chainsmokers 2:30-4:00, they're the biggest EDM act currently unless they add someone, so I think them closing Which makes more sense than them playing during a headliner.
LN What, because that designation is just too odd for them not to be LN what right? Has a which LN ever been announced on the poster....I don't think so.
Saturday
Ellie 8:30-10:00>LCD 11:00-1:00
Which
Halsey 6:45-7:45> Claypool Lennon Delirium 8:45-10:00

I'm starting to get behind the Tame Impala on What idea. Mostly because it means I'd be able to watch the whole headliner set and just stick around. And if it's with PJ even better because I can camp at a good non pit spot. I'm getting pit for LCD no matter what. This schedule works great for me!

Ahhhh, my bad, didn't know they were confirmed for the same. I thought it was just assumed by everyone
Here’s my second mock. I switched things around so that confirmed bands are on their confirmed days. I also made two key assumptions: 1. Based on the shuttle times, the music on Friday will end at 4:00 AM and 1:00 AM on Saturday 2. The Euro PJ dates are true and they’ll be playing Friday, placing LCD on Saturday.
This mock looks a lot different from the first - the first one was supposed to look a lot like 2015’s, but with those assumptions a lot of things change (also, in this scenario, there’s only a tiny bit of overlap with LCD and PJ). I hope it’s not the case that the Saturday LNs are so short and so lame.

J Cole isn't confirmed for Friday is he? It can still be J Cole -> LCD Saturday unless there's something I'm missing.

I think he is assumed Friday since Ellie is assumed Saturday.

probably my favorite mock so far. i don't see anything inherently unrealistic off the bat, and I'd have desirable acts to see pretty much all day everyday. sure there are conflicts, especially LN (tame vs zeds dead vs kamasi vs superjam was a bold scheduling choice) but that's going to happen. i would be thrilled if the schedule looked like this.
EDIT: oh and i'd be at kamasi for that LN set with the 63 other fans who choose to attend. will be a highlight of my weekend.
With several updates on the Schedule Confirmation Thread, I revamped my mock.
A few notes on some of the changes:
1. I originally had JCole>LCD on Friday and Pearl Jam on Saturday, but I swapped these to see what it'd look like. Dead&Co stays on Sunday for me.
2. Moved Macklemore to Pre-HL before PJ. I feel like he's too high on the bill to not be a Pre-HLer. There are other possibilities, but I'm going with this.
3. Moved Lettuce from LN to Which opener. This leaves a LN jam band gap, but maybe the SuperJam will be it this year (or perhaps an artist addition?).
4. Moved Ween to Sunday Which closer. I guess this could be someone like Macklemore or even Death Cab, but Ween kind of makes sense to me there.
5. Kept Ellie Goulding at Sunday What Pre-HLer. Schedule Confirmation Thread has her at Saturday, but Sunday still a possibility and fits the Florence spot from last year.
6. I left a couple of spots for Artist Additions, but I could definitely see there being none this year (other than café/comedy), assuming they stick with similar numbers as last year.
Based on that article, where Cos said "Ween are playing long reunion sets", anything other than LN would be silly IMO.
well, they've always played long sets, it's not just because it's a reunion. ~30 songs, 2.5-3 hours is a standard Ween show
but it would be foolish of them to have booked them for what is one of their very few announced shows this year and not let them do a full set so i can't imagine them being anywhere but a LN tent

Most mocks have had Death Cab on What. I really don't think that's the case, especially after Macklemore. I'd be willing to bet they're on Which for sure

The reason why I've been doing that is a matter of personal belief that if they're not going to put a pop/rap act before any of the headliners, it's going to be Dead & Co. Plus, the way I tried to schedule that Sunday was that so Tyler, Mackelmore, and HAIM didn't conflict with each other. Death Cab solves both problems nicely. In terms of billing it's not unlike The National/Tom Petty in 2013, but yeah, I know the far more likely scenario is just that Macklemore subs.

I could easily see them being on What with Macklemore closing Which. I think the thought of Macklemore going into any of the headliners is just a bummer for us, so we're all just hoping it doesn't happen.

The only part that I think is unrealistic is a lot of the artists got too much time in your mock. With how short sets were last year, I certainly don't expect them to be so generous with the length of sets this year, though it wish they would.
Aside from that, I would prefer Claypool/Lennon was switched with CHVRCHES just so I could get pit for LCD Saturday and see all Lennon/Claypool on Friday. Just that's just in my own, selfish world.
