....no FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK TAME IMPALA AND TYLER THE CREATOR ARE PROBABLY GOING TO CONFLICT NOW!!!! I CAN'T CHOOSE BETWEEN THOSE TWO!? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO DECIDE. I'M SO OVER YOU BONNAROO
Now that I've had the day to settle down from first reaction of seeing the day-by-day, my breakdown:
Thurs: 9 (I actually expect some conflicts here that'll be hard to choose between - this Thursday is really quite good, IMO. If any of Cash Cat/Bully/Hundred Waters conflict, I'll be really bummed) Fri: 16 (conflicts will be truly brutal) Sat: 9 Sun: 8
I have similiar numbers for both Sat. and Sun. but I like my Sunday to be less frantic since I'll be so tired by then. Saturday....should not be so sparse. :/

Huh.. In my opinion, at least, Friday is a very good and strong and happy day while the others are less good and strong and make me suffering.
Suprised no one else has pointed that out tbh
If you like a lot of artists on Friday then you'll probably only get to see half. Friday's late night is going to be crazy. Especially for any EDM fans.
Saturday doesn't seem as bad for me as some people are making it....Natalie Prass, Beach Fossils, The Internet, Two Door Cinema Club, Band of Horses, Lamb of God, Big Grams, a potentially decent superjam, and maybe even seeing some Pearl Jam. None of these bands are must sees, but I still have options.

definitely the weakest day of the festival but i agree it's not completely terrible. still plenty there i'm interested in seeing, just nothing super exciting for me except Claypool/Lennon and RL Grime, and maybe Chicano Batman.
Thoughtful and interesting scheduling could make it a fun day with plenty of good sets. Unfortunately I can't remember the last time I considered a Bonnaroo schedule thoughtful and interesting. I could easily see Ellie, Haim, Chris Stapleton, Claypool/Lennon, Nathaniel Rateliff and maybe one of the EDM acts all conflicting in various parts of their sets, with very little interesting going on before that.
Strong hopes Bonnaroo abandons their coverband superjam trend and just gives Claypool the stage. Seriously doubt this happens but a really weird and inspired improv-centric Superjam could lift up the whole day.

Anyone who doesn't have Hundred Waters on their list for Thursday needs to reconsider their life choices.
Really? i seen them open for Alt-J a couple years ago and thought they were god awful. pretty much the whole audience lost interest within 2 songs and couldn't even here the band over the talking going on.

Then again, that was two years ago. I'm sure they are much much better now since they have more experience.
i stopped and saw about 10 minutes of them on my way to joey bada$$ at okee. i thought they sounded great and was impressed with how each song sounded like a different genre from the last.
apparently the lead singer saw a rebel flag in the crowd and started a chant to take it down, but oops, it was actually just a florida flag. i guess she brought the guy up on stage and sang to him to remedy the situation tho.

Hahahahaha that must have been so fucking awkward. I'd feel like such a shitty person if I made that mistake
I totally understand how people who are planning to go the full 4 days would be pissed about this (I would be too), but personally, I'm ecstatic. I was only planning on going for the single day when LCD headlines, so this is glorious for me personally. LCD, Kamasi, Tame, and M83 were basically my top 4, so I'll at least get to see a good chunk of all of those sets. If I some how get to see all 4 of those in their entirety, then it really will be the best of a bad situation. Not to mention that there is quite a bit of other stuff I want see that day (Fidlar, Dungen, Leon Bridges, Allen Stone, Tyler, Vince Staples, Ibeyi). Honestly couldn't be much happier, I was so worried LCD were gonna be on Saturday.

yeah i'm kinda glad i didn't witness it personally, people said it was pretty cringeworthy but that she made up for it by serenading him on stage.

Eh, I wouldn't feel like "such a shitty person" for making that mistake - sounds like she apologized once she realized it was just a FL flag, but kudos to her for taking a stand when she thought it was a flag representing white supremacy.
Whatever. Imma be at their show. Up close. And I think it'll be lotsa fun

Oh yeah sounds like she handled that situation perfectly once she found out. It just seems like a really embarrassing situation.
Friday has the most, but also I'm interested in acts from the top to the bottom of the lineup that day so I'm hoping things get spread out well and there aren't too many conflicts.
Saturday and Sunday almost all the acts I care about are in the top half so I'm fearing some potential conflicts later in the day
You mean Phish 2009? Unless I'm forgetting something, which is always possible, Phish just had one show in 2012. Even then, Phish's two 2009 shows were on different days; one Friday LN on the What Stage, and the other was the Sunday HL slot. The day-by-day has The Dead & Co. listed on Sunday as "Dead & Company (2 Sets)"
Phish played 2 sets in 2012. One show, but with a break in between both sets. D&C will do the same.
How did I forget that? Man, time does weird things to memories.
Anyway, it looks like you're right. The Dead just updated their Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/939037396145018/) to say 7 PM - 11 PM on Sunday night. That looks like our official scheduling time!
EDIT: And apparently I'm a day late on that news. I should check Facebook more often or something. Sorry, guys!
I have to miss Saturday for a wedding, so this looks perfect for me. I was "debating" coming back Sunday depending on who's playing, but knowing it would be The Dead, I basically already made up my mind that I'd be coming back. It's my cousin's wedding, though, so I haven't told my family yet. I guess I should do that today so I can go ahead and book my plane tickets.
This will be a crazy weekend schedule for me- I'm leaving super early Saturday to catch a flight out of Nashville to Pittsburgh (losing an hour), where I'm renting a car and driving north to Erie, PA. I'm changing quickly, then heading northeast along I-90 until I get to the vineyard where my cousin is having her wedding. I only have a save-the-date so far, not an invitation, so I only know that it's a vineyard near the "town" of North East, PA, which means anywhere from the edge of Erie all the way along I-90 to the NY state line. I'll then have to be back in Pittsburgh for a ~6 AM (eastern) flight, putting me in Nashville before noon local time. I'll be back on the Farm by about 1 PM on Sunday! Woooo!!
You may want to price out Buffalo as well. It's a bit closer and you may be able to get some deals.
Good call. I'm less concerned with price than I am with timing at this point, but I'm about to pull the trigger today. I'm going to check Cleveland, too, just in case.

Are you doing the Single Day Pass + Nashville shuttle package? Is there any other way to do a single day? Leaving Tame Impala early to get on shuttle at 3:00am to go all the way to Nashville really blows.

Nah, I only live an hour and half a way so I'll just be driving in.
