I want to see Pearl Jam, Haim, Grace Potter, Claypool-Lennon, and Nathaniel Rateliff on Saturday for sure. I also want to see Chris Stapleton and Adventure Club if they fit my mood and schedule. That's 5 concerts for sure and 2 more probables in a day. I'll never complain when I see Pearl Jam and 4 other awesome bands in a single day. Maybe other people here have different taste than me...
Also, I keep seeing people complain about Third Eye Blind. Some of you may hate them, but they're still one of the most liked bands on Bonnaroo.com and a staple of 90s music. I will absolutely be seeing them for the nostalgia. Plus, their new album isn't half bad.
Saturday may actually turn out to be a better day than Friday just because of the inevitable conflicts. Saturday I see everything that I want to see probably working out just fine. Friday I'm really not sure what it is I'm actually going to be seeing.
Are you doing the Single Day Pass + Nashville shuttle package? Is there any other way to do a single day? Leaving Tame Impala early to get on shuttle at 3:00am to go all the way to Nashville really blows.
Nah, I only live an hour and half a way so I'll just be driving in.
So, how do you acquire a single day pass? All I saw was the shuttle pack deal.

I don't think they've gone on sale yet. I would think they will definitely do them, right? I'll be absolutely livid if they don't, but I'm sure they will. In the past, I'm fairly sure that the single day tickets have come out in March and April, much later than then regular 4 day passes.

Just checked monster, last year the by-day lineup came out on 3/18 and the single day passes went on sale on 3/20. In 2014, the single day passes went on sale May 1st. So who knows when they'll do it this year.
Pretty sure they've only ever sold single day tickets as part of the shuttle packages.
Whaaat? I specifically remember that a big group of my friends' parents got single day tickets for Paul McCartney in '12. And I (and all of them) are from Alabama, so having to drive to Nashville to catch a shuttle makes no sense. I don't remember any of my friends saying anything about their parents having to go to Nashville or having to take a shuttle.

I can't speak to their new album but the wife took me to see them last year and they put on a great show. It's going to be fun, promise. Just as long as they play "Motorcycle Drive By"

This lineup is bad and the day by day breakdown has only made it worse. Your opinions are wrong.
As somebody born in 1982, I do not recall at any moment Third Eye Blind being a staple. Are they a band from 90's? Yes. Did they get some radio air play? Yes Are they a staple of 90's music? No.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

If Third Eye Blind is a staple of 90s music then so are Semisonic, Seven Mary Three, Marcy Playground, Deep Blue Something, Len, Cherry Poppin' Daddies, and Primitive Radio Gods. All clearly worthy of the legacy act slot at Bonnaroo.

I'll admit I googled "90s rock one hit wonders" to come up with that list. I did had to cherry pick because there were some one hit wonders I actually (not sarcastically) consider 90's staples. Blind Melon and Crash Test Dummies come to mind.

Blind melon were good. If no rain hadn't been so huge, they'd be on a list of "great cult 90s bands" instead of "one hit wonders"

Yeah they would have gone beyond one-hit status if Hoon hadn't died. Also crash test dummies are less a staple than 3rd eye blind. 3rd eye did have more than one huge song

Ugh. Gross. God help us all. Those band were definitely NOT staples of my 90s. Thank goodness most of these bands had one song and then quietly disappeared into the millennium.

I hated both of those songs. I feel like such a Grinch.

When we started dating my now wife admitted she liked the song "Cumbersome" by Seven Mary Three and eight years later I still regularly give her shit for it.

As you should. She deserves shit for liking that song, especially from her loving husband.

I like that song. I never bought the cd but I'll still listen to that song if it comes on the radio. I never really liked TEB but I've become a lot more nostalgic even for stuff that I didn't even like. I'd see them just to hear them play those 2 songs that I know.
